Every little thing we all do to get through this awful timeline matters. Even jokes and singing. Especially those. Thank you god and Jesus for doing your part.
I look for your posts. Thank you for helping us! It runs through my mind, usually when the news is on, that I might not make it through this nightmare.😣😖😩😩 It seems every day there’s some new horror that makes me do a double take and wonder how this could possibly be happening. Thank you for being the thread for my sanity.
I think that a good many of us (like me) don't take the time to say "Thank you!", especially to those who go out of their way to make life, the world, or some small part of it, better. That goes entirely against the current regime's philosophy, which is to spread misery and make us think that there is no hope at all. If they can do that, they win. All it takes are entities like God to spread non-misery: hope, laughter, and love. That is the seed to a growing sister-and-brotherhood: community that everyone needs, but don't always realize it.
So, God, thank You! And know that I thank and appreciate not only You, but Amanda (whose name means "lovable") and everyone like her, who catch the spark and ignite new fires with it.
I first read your headline as "Why do I do this?" and immediately thought you were going to say it's just too much and you can't do it any more. And rightfully so, as it's a lot of stressful work.
Then, as I started to go into a complete meltdown, I read the headline again and then with relief I read the post. Let me add to the chorus of those who appreciate your humor, especially as a recovering Christian, in such a dark world as ours often is. We need each other, if not to get thru the night, to at least find hope for each day thru humor.
You mean a lot to us, God. After I found out about you and the great things that you were able to do (The God Loves Gays billboard, for example), I became a devoted follower. Please keep doing the good work that you do.
Reminders of the difference we make in others lives sends positive energy out. We all feel it whether we express it or not. As Anne Lamont says" Humor is carbonated Holiness."
What you said, God, about us all being together in this reminded me of this book I am reading: Ladder to the Light : An Indigenous Elder's Meditations on Hope and Courage
by Steven Charleston. There is soooooooo much wisdom in our Indigenous community that has been through so much. And there is sooooo much wisdom in being in community together! Thanks for bringing us all together!
You've created a safe space where love wins and we can boost each other up by being fucking HILARIOUS. We should write a book "God, JC, and their Hilarious Angels 🤟😇🤟
I agree with 100%! The 🍊🤡 and his sewer clowns have been in power for about 46 weeks. Humor and listening to jokes keeps me sane. Also, I enjoy reading and listening to music.
Thank you for being there for us! It is hard work and many days I feel it’s too much to resist but then I read your words and they always bring a smile to my face and many time an out loud hoot. Stay strong for us we need you God!
God, I am so thankful 🙏 that you and Jesus are here helping make our world a much better place and giving us this community to hang out and talk, sing and share our thoughts on anything we want/need to talk about. It’s wonderful to know we are not alone and that there are others out there just as tired and pissed off as we are! 💜🩷💛💚💙❤️🧡🩵
We love you too, God. 💜 Like Barney the Purple Dinosaur, only better. Thank you for being there.

BTW, I am an atheist...except for this God. :D
We need you now more than ever! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Trump and his clown show provides the content. You write the script. No one can do it better. You and Jesus are infinitely the best.
