Don't trust an oligarch. I wish it were easier than that. The oligarchs are, by nature, people who like to own things. They want to own all of the media companies, and they want to own your mind. Their greed is endless. I read a good article about what it's like to try to interact online if you block the big companies. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc., and what you find is that the vast majority of the infrastructure that holds the web together is owned by a very small number of people.
Kind of like what we like to think of as Democracy.

I think the US Postal Service should buy TikTok, require all users to change online IDs to break the connections to any hacked info and operate as a public utility with term lilited management overseen by the FCC and USPS.
