A better celebration had been in the works for decades. To steal a patriotic moment from us on our 250th says everything about the GOP and who they are and who they have always been. When they fall, and they will fall, we can have a truly great celebration. I look forward to it.

I was nine and saw the tall ships, the opening of Faneuil Hall, and Arthur Fiedler conduct the Boston Pops concert. Yes it was definitely better.
