What drives me batsh*t crazy are people getting their faces eaten by leopards who don't blame the leopards. "I'm sure dear leader wouldn't like this if he knew." No you dumb f*ck, he did this to you, intended to, and doesn't care about you! Sheesh.

At least this one guy might change his mind, but not holding my breath.

"Holy crap! The dictator I voted for, BECAUSE of his racism/misogyny/homophobia/xenophobia, is doing exactly what I voted for! But, to ME?

Damn those Democrats!"

HI2thDoc's avatar

"I thought it would happen to OTHERS, not me!" That right there is the MAGA motto of eaten faces

Richard Spiering's avatar

7 years ago, their complaint was, "he's not hurting those 'other' people enough!"

Be careful what you wish for, Trumpers.

Rodney Dudley's avatar

We are all "others" to somebody!

People like this are typical Rethuglicans—nothing bad exists until it happens to them. That is the only way they can care about anything at all. There is something missing in their brains and in their souls—if in fact they have souls. I’d LOVE to ask this idiot exactly what he thought would “get better.” In the meantime, I hope he has fun with the leopards.

He probably thought the price of eggs would come down and that there would be peace in Ukraine right away. However, he should have been able to tell, even before the election, that the dicktator wouldn't do much to help regular people. How many times had he all but said those words?

Psychologists call them sociopaths too.

Did this man think things would get better just because Chump said so? Did he ignore all of the rest of the rhetoric coming out of the Dumbass's mouth?? He is an attorney and didn't see that what Chump was saying he would do was not possible without violating the Constitution??? Can't be a very good attorney. Maybe he was one of those people who only heard the things that he WANTED to hear. Thank you, God! Amen! Awomen! Ramen!

hels's avatar

He’s not an attorney. He’s a real estate agent

Jan Frederick's avatar

NBC Boston says he is a real estate attorney. I just checked again to make sure I read it correctly. Unless they were wrong.

Nancy's avatar

So, he's...both? /puzzled

Maybe Doctor Who was right; hybrids are dangerous...

Better call Saull.

Hell nah! He got what he voted for, right?? I have no pity for anyone that voted for donOld! I do have pity for the rest of us who now have to deal with all this 🐂 💩! 😡

The Supreme Court took the monster in and fed it, all the while hoping the monster wouldn't eat it. Burp.

RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!

STARTING WITH

KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA!

Sandra Cowan's avatar

I do fear he is not alive. Cause they are denying him so hard!

Betsy L's avatar

Now the administration doesn't want Mr. Abrega Garcia back because of what he'd say when he got back here. If that prison is as bad as they say, just imagine the stories he'd tell. Maybe 60 Minutes would have him on. Maybe that would give Dumpy a stroke!

Rosalind 🍁's avatar

Yes. I haven’t heard that angle expressed before but I think you are right. The trump knows what he sent those people to, and even he has a little bit of sense enough to know he must conceal it. Monster.

C K Smith's avatar

We can only hope, both that 60 Minutes would have Mr. Garcia on air AND that Dicktater would have a stroke.

Suessl's avatar

They don't want to bring him back because he's dead.

Sandra Cowan's avatar

If he's alive...which I don't believe he is.

Rosalind 🍁's avatar

Well at least Van Hollen found him alive and able to function. But it was mentioned that he had been moved to another prison before the visit. Just for the visit or for a long-term stay? It reminds me of a report which I just verified in Wikipedia about Theresienstadt, a lesser known Nazi camp in Czechoslovakia used as a model camp but also as a waystation for thousands of Jews being transported to Auschwitz.

1943: “At the beginning of February, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, head of the RSHA, proposed the deportation of an additional five thousand elderly Jews. SS chief Heinrich Himmler refused, due to the increasing desire for Theresienstadt as an alibi to conceal information on the Holocaust reaching the Western Allies.”

“Four hundred fifty Jews from Denmark—the few who had not escaped to Sweden—arrived in October 1943. The Danish government's inquiries after them prevented their deportation, and eventually the SS authorized representatives of the Danish Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to visit Theresienstadt. The RSHA archives were transported to Theresienstadt in July 1943, reducing the space for prisoners, and stored in the Sudeten barracks until they were burned on 17 April 1945 on SS orders.”

I wonder what records DOGE is permitting ICE to keep?

By the way, Wikipedia has extensive individual and group entries on Nazi camps and their various purposes: transit, internment, work squads, concentration, murder. They include a chronological account of actives, locations, layouts, numbers of prisoners, countries of origin, numbers of deaths and survivors, staff names where available.

Xeno's avatar

After hearing about this prison for the first time I watched a couple of documentaries… it’s truly a gulag.

Sailor Girl's avatar

Either that or maybe he is either dead or severely injured. Looking forward to what happens with the depos ordered by the court.

JudiLI's avatar

A big boo hoo to anyone who thought things would be better under Trump. Were you not paying attention?

Mark Carpenter's avatar

If Kilmar Abrego Garcia "deserves" to be sent to El Salvador even though he committed no crime (and Trump isn't going to lift so much as a finger to get him out) , then Bachir Atallah deserves to be sent to El Salvador -- preferably on the next flight to the country.

Maybe Bachir Atallah and Kilmar Garcia can become bff -- while they're still alive.

If you're a Trumper, and your life gets messed up because of Trump -- don't come whining to me for sympathy: NOT. HAVING. IT.

John Jacob's avatar

Again, WTF?!?!?

Hello???

Who thought Trump would make things “better”? Lunatics?

Better like last time?

Because everyone enjoyed Felon 47 when he was Liar 45?

Crimes, Impeachments, Science Denial and COVID…good times!

🤔

It never fails to surprise me when I see an educated person vote for mango vonshitsinpants and think that things would actually get better. This guy and his sister are both attorneys. For crying out loud, do you not do your homework when considering who to vote for. Ignorance, especially for an educated person can not be tolerated. He got what he voted for.

There is a difference between being able to finish coursework and pass tests and being able to engage in deep or critical thinking. In fact if anything, the ability to specialize and become a certificated “professional” requires skills that are the opposite to critical thinking!

Some of the most rigid and superficial thinkers I have known are in the legal, engineering, financial, and medical professions. Great at what they do, lacking in so many other areas.

Nancy's avatar

On the other hand, from what I hear, you can be an accredited attorney with only getting "C" averages in law school...apparently, becoming a lawyer is the equivalent of getting a Bachelor's Degree? :-/

Terri Burney-Bisett's avatar

mango vonshitsinpants - Thank you, Mike, I've going to steal that one!

Xeno's avatar

I gotta say that got me too!

HI2thDoc's avatar

But they did get better, Atallah. Seeing a MAGA tool get their face eaten. . .nah, this is the difference between MAGA and us. Just because you voted for Fascist 47 and it came back to bite you doesn't make it right, and we will say so. It's just that the poetic justice is kinda satisfying for a moment.

My grandparents became citizens 100 years ago, more or less. I have white skin and an American accent. And I have no plans to go outside of the country, because who knows what excuse they might use to pick me up. Clearly they picked him up because of his darker skin tone and his unusual accent--racial profiling.

Nancy's avatar

Yeah. I'm recommending everyone I "talk" to online to NOT LEAVE THE COUNTRY until this madness is over and done with. :-/

Just in case...

He sounds pretty pissed. I really have no sympathy for him. He didn’t seem repentant or say anything except things have gotten worse. If he said he was sorry for voting for Trump, then I might have a tiny bit of sympathy for him. So unless he says more publicly, I have to go pull out my mini violin 🎻.

Lady Emsworth's avatar

Re that Youtube clip - MAGA commenters on there saying he actually voted for Biden, and this is a set up to make ICE look bad. . .

When the leopards are sitting on their chests. deciding which cheek to munch on first, they will STILL be saying "It's OK! Trump knows what he's doing! this leopard won't bite ME!"
