Yes, Steve Bannon, you are going to prison. You and all of your fascist buddies too. And that’s the truth.

LJ57's avatar

Prison is too good for the lot of them

Kaiannanthi's avatar

And we'll hunt down those gestapo bastards like rats in their holes and send their asses to prison too. Peter Thiel, Stephen Miller, Homan, that jackass who lied in court yesterday or the day before (I forget, the one who claimed a rock was thrown at his head when he didn't wear his bodycam as required), all of them. They won't get some cushy country club prison, and "I was just following orders" won't be a defense for the brutality they inflicted on people.

Nancy's avatar

"That trick NEVER works!"

Gillie's avatar

I would love to see all these country killers, pedophiles, and enablers to serve their time in prison chain gangs. Their meals are what one can afford on a monthly SNAP basis.

TrashPandaParty's avatar

Maybe these people will make better choices at the polls next year. I just have such an issue with the people who see the light because it's actually shining through a giant magnifying glass burning their ass. They wouldn't care if it wasn't hurting them. It's a conundrum for me. I don't want to push them back into the cult but I'm still pissed they got us in this situation. Also, I don't trust them. How do you handle these people?

L Turner's avatar

My fear is that once the lockdown is over and if her Obamacare is safe she will be happy to continue to vote for the Republicans bc a personal crisis was averted.

TrashPandaParty's avatar

This is how I feel... once their needs have been met, they will go back to their old habits. I doubt they will have learned anything, and the original hate filled reasons they had for supporting Donald will still apply.

L Turner's avatar

They are steadfast in clinging to their malignant self-interest.

Kaiannanthi's avatar

You can't change those people. Empathy is a muscle. If you haven't got it, you can't flex it. If you haven't exercised it in awhile it's gonna be really sore when you do, but eventually you'll make progress against the entropy that withered it.

Deb Vitkova's avatar

I can't believe that I am going to quote Ronald RayGun who started this shitball rolling, but here goes: Trust, but verify.

TrashPandaParty's avatar

This is the third time they've voted for this though. They lived through Donald destroying the economy and survived covid (despite Donald's best efforts to kill everyone) and still went back. This gives me trust issues.

P J Johnston's avatar

Totally agree with you on this one!

living up here in Northeast West Virginia, I can relate; meaning I have relatives who still harbor disdain because I DO say : I told you so! ALL THE time...LOL

Nola Krosch's avatar

Lol! I’ve gotten to the point in my life where it gives me no pleasure to say “I told you so,” especially when we all have to experience this hellscape bc some of us thought it would be better to elect an incompetent white man, than to let a black woman lead us—although tbh, I think DJT actually did steal the election, with Musk’s help.

Oh there's a reason! The people deserve nothing except to be at the mercy of the wealthy. How else can the oligarchs rule without the serfs being poor, ill, hungry & dependent on their morsels.

It's up to all of us to defeat their goals, because this is 2025, not 1525 and we're many and stronger than those that hide behind their billions!

Nancy's avatar

And slightly better educated than in 1525! :D

Two things. One. God bless psychomom1966's friend who enlightened her. Two. If you admit that you will go to prison when the power corridor shifts, then doesn't that mean what you've been doing today is illegal? I mean, a person not breaking the law will not think they are going to jail when power shifts. Bannon and the rest of his MAGA goons know what they're doing is illegal and they do it anyway.

Kaiannanthi's avatar

True! But if they win, they can change it all retroactively. That's their gamble.

Bronwyn Halls's avatar

Sorry, Mary, but it doesn't work like that.

If something (e.g. being same sex married) is legal today and is made illegal tomorrow, all same sex married people will probably have to immediately divorce. Or get in big, big trouble if most trad religions have anything to say about it.

If a religious faction takes control of your government and you are not of that religion, you become illegal and you probably die. Or stuck in a ghetto or camp.

If you enjoy a good scrandle and then scrandling is found to cause peripetosis, it will be made illegal (except to the filthy rich). If you want to stay out of a labour camp, you have to stop scrandling immediately. Don't forget to destroy your instruments.

So, she actually expects Trump to respond to her request? What lost planet is she from?

More typical for Trump would be to shift the blame to Vought and the Project 25 mob, claiming they took advantage of his good nature an lied to him.

Bannon and prison? Not for Donnie. He'll take a fast boat out of Mar-a-lago and try to escape to Argentina like they did in '45.

Nancy's avatar
Nov 8Edited

Or Qatar; apparently, they love him there. :-/

And they don't extradite; not sure about Argentina...

EDIT: Ah! Yep, Argentina would chuck him out back to us, probably, so we could lock him up. ;)

Yeppers there Stevie you are going to prison with all your fascist buddy’s.. Maybe that Alligator Alcatraz can be started back up and used while y’all are awaiting trial. It is in Florida … just sayin

Nola Krosch's avatar

But no on the alligator alcatraz, bc it was damaging the ecosystem there.

TJ's avatar

Agree on the attack of the eco system.. how about ADX Florence (Colorado): Often referred to as the "Alcatraz of the Rockies," this supermax federal prison is designed for maximum security and extreme isolation. Inmates, who include terrorists and high-profile criminals, spend up to 23 hours a day in solitary confinement in small concrete cells, leading to severe psychological issues and human rights criticisms.

Nola Krosch's avatar

I think that wd be a great place for Trump and all his goons!

Richard's avatar

I agree with you 100%! Remember a year ago a few days/weeks after the 2024 election. How many went to google to search: how to change our votes. You can not fix stupid! 🤪

LJ57's avatar

One of the late night hosts interviewed people on the street the day after the election and a number of them stated yes, they would be voting, “later this week”

Nothing is worse than being around a person who just quit smoking, after26 years, and now attacks his buddies who continue to light up. The grimacing face, the waving the smoke away, spewing new found information of the dangers of cancers or COPD. But now, there's a new guy in town...the one who finally woke up, and "quit" being a republiCON. He is now the armchair quarterback, bitching about his "new" party who isn't doing enough to fix the damage he voted for, for years. I encountered one of these live streamers yesterday. I had never listened to his show before, and I won't be tuning in again. It's great that he finally "woke" up, but don't bitch because you have all the answers, and the Dems aren't working fast enough to suit your awakening.

Catt woman's avatar

I was one of those “reformed” smokers. Friends referred to me as the “reformed whore”. I guess I was insufferable for a few years! I don’t see it happening with the MAGAts—yet….I might have to wait until they get their health insurance bill soon.

Dianne K's avatar

I quit in 1997. To this day, I gag when I walk by someone with cigarette smoke in their clothing. I didn’t preach after quitting, I was just glad my clothing and hair didn’t smell anymore. It took a few years for the house and car to finally stop smelling.

P J Johnston's avatar

Totally agree with you on this one. It's so nice that the house smells of dog and not cigarette smoke. It's interesting that in these days and times many car dealers won't take cars for trade in that smell of cigarettes because it's so offensive to a lot of people.

Bren M's avatar

Ok, God, you’ve performed another miracle today. Now could you please tell Satan you’ve found the perfect candidate, available immediately, to make his job down there easier? Hitler has to be running out of ideas by now.

Katrina Ludvig's avatar

Bravo psychomom for admitting you were wrong. We'd be better off giving positive reinforcement when they realize the truth instead of throwing more insults. Perhaps we'd gain a convert.

David T Moran's avatar

It's amazing when the light bulb finally turns on!

Now if the people getting SNAP benifits and the farmers wake up we will start a rebellion.

JudiLI's avatar

Let me make a list of who should go to jail!

Robot Bender's avatar

Hope you have a new legal pad handy. Can you write small so all the names will fit?

Nancy's avatar

Aw, there's more than just one page in a legal pad! :D

Robot Bender's avatar

You'll need them all. 😉 😜

Sarah3000's avatar

I call it willful incompetence. The truth has been there all along. Even if they admit the truth, they then turn around and blame the Democrats for what Trump and the Republicans have done.

Jacqueline Powell's avatar

It is important to acknowledge people were conned by Trump and Fox and beleived the lies.

We need to have empathy, all of us can be hoodwinked and make mistakes.

People are waking up andcarecseeing the cracks.

AscfovSteve Bannon, he will have plenty of company with the rest of the regime.

Lisa Nystrom's avatar

Sounds like Bannon is publicly confessing. Can we lock him up… again?!!! At least that woman’s 💡 still works. Picking up a sign and joining a protest is the next step. She won’t believe how good it feels. This might be the best post all week, God❣️❤️

And Lo, did those deficient of ample intelligence come to understand the evils they had inflicted upon themselves, and they were sore afraid and suddenly angered…

Blessed be 🙏
