I have a pulmonary fibrosis, a respiratory disease which during this final decade of my life, is going to become terminal.
Now, how does IPF affect my relationship with this lawless Administration?
I've moved from absolutely giving up the day after the election, which was followed by a case of pneumonia where I really thought through this disease, and if I wanted to die now or later; opted for dying later; and found my anger deep within.
I have fanned that anger until it is burning WHITE HOT.
I participate in, and help organize protests against this Administration. Since my two MAGA "Senators" have sent me emails stating that they would no longer accept my emails, my telephone calls, or my snail mails, I now send my comments to them to the top ten newspaper outlets in my state. My "Senators" could have chosen to read and respond to my letters and emails 1-1. Now a million people get to see those letters and emails.
I am calling out our MAGA Governor and MAGA Attorney General on their FaceBook Pages. On the rare occasions when these two swamp creatures dare to come out and face the public, I'm there to confront them and speak truth to power.
Yup: I have a disease which is going to end my life. I have become rather fearless since last November. So what are these MAGA swamp creatures going to do: KILL ME?
Find your anger, God. Fan it until it is WHITE HOT. And then do something with that white, hot anger. Do what you're doing, now: MAKE GOOD TROUBLE.

I think Musk is mad enough to really do something. You don't cross someone with Aspergers Disorder, I have it so strong in my family and I can tell you it is real. Most folks don't know this but Hans Asperger worked with a certain set of young boys in Nazi Germany who were set to be euthanized because they were different. He put his life on the line to save them. He told the Nazi scientists that if they ever wanted to go forward in mathematics, physics and science these boys were there best hope. He was so right. Check out such folks as Einstein, Oppenheimer...I live in the midst of Asperger's which to me is not a disorder but a blessing. Remember the young environmentalist who says it is her "super-power". I agree but it is always challenging. No matter how you feel about Musk he is worth at least ten of Trump. He needs guidance and less money.

The other day I received a phone call - it was a political pole - 100% pro Trump. I told them I was a Republican (I'm not), that I voted for Trump in the last elections (I didn't), that I had a GED and made over $500,000 a year (lol I don't). I then proceeded to strongly disagree on everything Trump has done. She repeated the questions several times to make sure my answer was negative to Trump. Just figured I suggest this to others in case they receive the same call.
I always say good morning and thank you to you every day when I get up in the morning. As always you are my touchstone and my sanity checker.

Meh, even if Donny cancels his contracts, some other country will pick them up; he doesn't need the U.S. to maintain his lifestyle in the manner to which he's become accustomed, I think. :-/

I'm reminded of a joke from decades ago when the fundamentalists mounted their takeover of the Southern Baptist Convention. They're like children on their first campout who would rather piss on their own tent mates than go outside in the dark. It's a variation on "write about what you know"; they like to piss on the people they know.
That's the concern. Third parties historically split the vote. That's why Al Gore lost the presidency because Ralph Nader siphoned off Dem voters. The only way a third party can operate as a viable option is if we do away with the archaic Electoral College and replace it with Rank Choice Voting at the Federal level.
Nah; the National Interstate Popular Vote Compact (I think that's the name) only needs about 60+ more votes before it goes into effect... The states have the right to dole out their electoral votes as they see fit, right? Well, the Compact says flat-out that, if enough states vote for it (up to 270 electoral votes' worth), they will agree to turn over all their electoral votes to the candidate that wins the popular vote. ;)
Back to "one person, one vote" actually meaning something again. :D
(And I can't imagine a single Democrat wanting to have anything to do with the Muskrat; I'm not too worried there. Both Nader and Bernie were too close to our desired messages in 2000 and 2016. The only attraction to the Muskrat MIGHT be space exploration, but lots of Democrats don't want to do that, despite every dollar invested in the Space Program [of OUR GOVERNMENT; good ol' NASA] returning $7-$14, much of which can go towards social programs...)
A third party has always been a good idea but who will it serve? Elon is much like Trump only much more successful in making money without the lying and cheating. Neither one of the men are role models for any human to emulate.
We admire wealth in America way too much. We all want a better life, free from the concerns of meeting our needs, but come on; how does anyone validate being a multi-billionaire in the face of a civilized society. We create these monsters but giving them adoration for their wealth. At the core of this authoritarian regime, we are all guilty for not having the insight or will to curtail the accumulation of wealth into the hands of the few.
I am but a 🕯️ candle in this sea of darkness, but you, and all the others are shining searchlights all over the World 🌎!! I am thankful beyond words as are many here, reading and spreading what the powerful fear most, our Uniting. A Force to be Reckoned With.
