Is there any legislatures or lawyers fighting for those receiving TANF and EBT? Those are the lowest of income and circumstances. I worked with that agency for 31 years and the vast majority of those people are good people of lowest means. (No haters comments please).
I worked for lawyers who did pro bono work for people who had to file for bankruptcy. Most of the cases were related to medical bills. They were by no means bad people and none of it was their fault (except for needing surgery or getting sick); they just found themselves in situations that should not have been allowed to happen.
