I am a parent of a Long Grey Line graduate; it was disgraceful to the highest degree - I am grateful I didn’t have to witness/participate in this, but of course I would for my person. I don’t understand the military industrial complex and had been anti war, then of course, life gave me a Warrior with a capital “W”. The commitment, integrity, resolve and unity of the Cadets is something to behold, and this should be their culminating honor. This clown, disrespectfully wearing that hat, couldn’t sully them in any way, but certainly showed in vivid fashion how unmatched to their service, sacrifice and leadership he is. Frightening to think he will be the person to decide to send them into conflict(s).
He never met a solemn or important moment that he could meet with grace, maturity, thoughtfulness and encouragement- it seems he is the antithesis of all those qualities. And then, LEFT 🤯, without shaking theirs hands?!?!
