Trump's inability to register an immediate reaction to gunfire and connect the dots to concern about his safety is absolutely what one would expect of a man in serious decline. That he could not immediately show an awareness for the safety of those in attendance is a reflection of his raging narcissism. That ballroom, if ever completed, needs to be bulldozed and destroyed. We need our Berlin Wall moment!
Also, the way he could not get his balance, could not get his feet under him, when he had to hoist his enormous bulk from his chair and then walk quickly. I don't think he "stumbled," his legs gave out. Real life moves way too quickly for the dementia-brain to process.

When I heard about the shooting and originally heard that the shooter was dead, I did not think about conspiracies. But when I found out, he was not only alive, but unharmed, OK, I found that a little difficult. He actually shot a law-enforcement agent, but was only tackled? Not riddled with bullet holes?
the solution isn't a $400M* ballroom at the WH. The solution is for the felon to stop attending these private, off the WH property events. Like he did the previous 4, 5 times he skipped the WHCA dinner in his 5 previous years being president.

Reporting this AM (BBC) is that the alleged shooter was not shot dead, but is in custody.
Funny that a USSS agent was shot & is in hospital (if the reporting is correct/current). But this "no quarter" regime left the shooter alive.
