I remember meeting people with numbers from the concentration camps on their arms. A lot if people have been saying these next 4 years are going to be rough. I’m praying, praying hard that’s it’s only 4 years. I get the feeling we’re going to see a complete change of everything and as orange face clearly said prior to cheating for this win. You’ll never have to vote again.

My major concern about his talk about taking the Canal back, taking Greenland, etc. is that it legitimizes the reasoning behind Putin's invasion of Ukraine, and possibly sends a message to China about Taiwan. Trump has no idea.
Trump has every idea! Trump is trying to carve his piece out of the world while giving Putin and Xi their respective shares. Trump is a rather STUPID fool if he thinks he can just take that Canal back from Panama. I was there in the early 1970s. I know those jungles well and that canal well. As a former military guy, with experience both with Panama and its people, I can tell you that an invasion by Trump will fail. It would seem to be easy to overwhelm a country with no standing military but if Trump breaks our treaty with Panama, they would be free to get assistance from any that will give it, including China, Cuba, the EU and others. There are no Chinese troops there now. Trump lied about that, but there can be, as well as military people from all over Latin America. Like Iraq, it would be easy for us to occupy Panama. Holding it would take hundreds of thousands of men. Panama, on our invasion, can sink a couple of ships in that canal. It would take months to remove them if they are not being shot at from the high ground jungles on both sides of the canal. Another thing is that it takes thousands of TRAINED people to operate that marvel. If the workers strike, the game is over. Our inflation will skyrocket overnight. We ship lots of our own stuff between coasts and the world would be ALL against us. If Trump tries to occupy Greenland, that is attacking a NATO country. The EU will respond with F-35s! As for Canada, it would be far better if all of the west coast states joined them along with the northeast states. Together we could build a greater country.

His inauguration speech included stuff like Manifest Destiny, a lovely policy that basically states that what is yours is now mine, including yourself. He wants to plant our flag in every nation, since it is our Manfest Destiny to rule and own all, and he wants to plant our flag on Mars, for starters. I imagine that he figures he can ultimately own and control the galaxy. Now, think about this. He invades Greenland and, has been noted by another on this conversation, Greenland is a NATO country. How many do we think will support a possible WWIII? He is insane. He seems to want to dismantle NASA and replace it with Bezos and Musk. How nuts is that? He talked about how it is America's destiny to expand and claim all territories for ourselves, including Mars and beyond. Do any of us really want this?
