Thank you for these emails God! They always give me hope. I wear my Protect The National Parks/Defund DOGE and The Only Dangerous Minorities Are Billionaires shirts a lot. But seeing these loud protests makes my heart sing. Fuck Depends Don, his whole fucking junk drawer and all of his enablers. We will persevere! We will prevail! We will be victorious!
As for Target's CEO, it couldn't have happened to a better person, besides Elon Musk. Maybe they can go to the poor house together and keep each other company. I love this for him.
Jeez, and I used to shop at Target for being "better" than Walmart, too!
Guess I should just renew my Costco subscription, except I don't usually need 8 pounds of ribeye steak in one go now that I'm no longer married! I bought a standalone freezer, but it's only a 3.5 cu. ft. model, like the kind you see in bodegas for ice cream treats.
I am holding out hope that Target will return to the Light Side of the Force. Meanwhile, do what you can. Even drastically reducing your Target shopping to a bare minimum, using alternatives as much as possible, will make an impact.
I’m with you. Went to Costco. We still have most of what I bought, since it’s like shopping for a family of 6 or a church supper for 100. We are 2 old farts with peculiar taste in food. We couldn’t eat 8 green peppers before they went bad, etc. But no Target and Amazon only if I can’t find something anywhere near.
I last went to Costco early this year, and I think I still have a five-pound box of frozen popcorn shrimp I've yet to start eating! Given I have a week to go before my Social Security check comes in, I have a feeling I'll be finally breaking into that between now and then....
I wonder how toaster popcorn shrimp goes with the 25-lb. bag of brown basmati rice I also have? Guess I'll find out!
I take it you couldn't slice and freeze the green peppers?
While most of the supermarkets are a few miles away (back when I lived in NYC the supermarket may have been small and expensive, but at least it wasn't more than a block or two's walk away!), I at least have a Supremo (Hispanic supermarket) within walking distance of my Jersey City apartment. While the buses aren't as bad as they were in Syracuse where I used to live the last eighteen years I was married, where it took three buses and two hours each way to get to the nearest supermarket(!), it's still a bit of a schlep to make it to the nearest Acme or Shoprite.
I love this SO MUCH!!!! Thank you for sharing the good news. I'll be visiting Cleveland soon and will try to find this billboard and get a selfie to celebrate.
AMEN GOD. The American people (most of us) are fighters. I have said this before TOO BAD WE CANNOY BEAR ARMS and go grab the SOB'S out of office. That is what they did January 6th, but it was for the wrong reason. Betty C
Also: After Target got rid of DEI, Twin Cities Pride wasted no time kicking them out of this year's Pride festival. Target was one of their biggest sponsors, so that was a huge leap. Happily, TC Pride got about twice the amount in donations that they would have gotten from Target. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈
I've said it a few times and I will say it again...I LOVE you guys! You make me laugh when I need it and inform of things I wasn't aware of as well (the billboards also LOVE THEM). Nice to see people are "waking up" and getting a lot bolder! Almost forgot about the Target thing, they angered me a long time ago so I've never been back I guess you could say I permanently "Boycott" them now!
I thought I might be the only one who has boycotted Target for more than 30 years. I am very glad to learn that I have a compatriot in that effort. Now I almost wish I were a Target shopper just so I could boycott them again now.🤣 Soon, I hope to see all of their locations turned into something useful, like free medical clinics for everyone who is losing their Medicaid.
It matters with headline writing, too (trust me, I used to that sort of thing as a copyeditor); when I saw that after going to the site, the first thing I thought was, "Jimmy Kimmel cancelled his show?! FOREVER??! =8-0" because that's what it looked like.
Could've been, "Jimmy Kimmel cancels Monday's show; announces he has become a grandfather" or something along those lines. :-/
My rebel alliance flag went up on Star Wars Day, and it won't be coming down until Tangerine Palpatine is out of office or the grease burgers catch up with him, whichever comes first. But seeing signs of the alliance in unexpected places does wonders for morale!
Thank God for posts like this and for the rebellion. Waking with hope today ❤️🩹
The first humans to find music should have been put in charge from the get-go.
Amen! Awomen! Ramen! :D

I love your shirt slogan! I need that!

At least he had the balls to make his CEO pay based on corporate performance, and not just a guaranteed money pit.
He didn’t cut his own CEO pay, I’m sure the Board of Directors did that.
And I love this for us!

"Brian Cornell, Trump is your father". May the farts be with you!

Great idea! I'd agree with something like that for sure!
Jimmy Kimmel announces he has become a grandfather after cancelling his show on Monday

Accuracy matters.
Yes, it does. That's brand new this morning, I didn't have this available last night. The post has been updated.
Thanks for all you're doing!

Don't get me started!
Great to see Target suffering. We shopped there for decades and we’ll wait as long as it takes to see change.

Been playing Bruce Springstein song when I get up in the morning, makes me feel good.
"Rebellions are built on hope." love that!
Thank you for the uplifting news.
