This is what his supporters voted for. They just thought it would only happen to Democratic browns and blacks and gays. They were more than happy when the suffering was just for liberals. Now they're seeing that Trump really doesn't care about them. But he told them and showed them more than once that he didn't care about them, only their votes. This is schadenfreude all the way and I'm glad it's happening early in his presidency. Maybe now these morons will threaten their Congress members and force them to impeach the Cheeto-in-chief. The sooner the better.

My first thought was “dream on” and then my next thought was, “wait I’m hoping the same thing!”

Even if he could run for a third term (no, Donnie, you can't; says so in the thing you never read before you swore to uphold it [remember that? how that scary Book frightened you so much you wouldn't put your hand on it {and the other hand was probably crossing its fingers}? how is he gonna be Pope if he can't handle the scary Book?]...), I doubt even his Kool-Aid Drinkers would vote for him again.

He's doing what he wanted to do in 2017-2021 if he hadn't been worried about winning again.

HI2thDoc's avatar

I have mixed feelings. Schadenfreude mixed with disbelief mixed with youfuckingidiots mixed with haha mixed with areyougonnalearnanything, and worst of all, EVERYONE is suffering because of dumbasses like you who supported him THREE times.

I cannot believe he is still president. We need him out-yesterday.

DNC please primary or get rid of Schumer and the rest of the out-of-touch, weak, complicit, corporate teat-feeding members of the House and Senate.

Repeal Citizens United and outlaw corporate lobbying-otherwise we will never get out of this mess.

Elected representatives must be responsive to their constituents NOT to their billionaire and corporate sponsors.

Our country will not survive four years of this dictatorship.

deniway's avatar

Gotta get a majority in the House and Senate - then we are talking removal - But that is in 2 years unless we can flip some Repubs. I am in an organization that just had a letter writing campaign - since the organization is in several states we wrote on organization letterhead - we reminded the US Reps and Senators of their responsibility to the Constitution not the party or the Orange one. It's just one idea to fight back.

DL Jr's avatar

That is so great Deniway, keep it up!

Here in S.C. my DAILY calls to Graham, Scott and Mace(barf) are met with answering machine silence for the most part.

I’ve started doing this: when I’m lucky to get a human, I can usually tell it’s a young intern or new staffer. I’m encouraging each to seek employment elsewhere so as not to lose their souls at such a young age. 😂

JustTanNotOrange's avatar

Thank you - that’s great your group did a letter writing campaign! Please check out Lev Parnas’s Substack. He is urging everyone to pressure 3 moderate Republicans in the House to leave their party and caucus with Democrats, to flip the House NOW, and Hakeem Jeffries to get the Dems to work on this

Robot Bender's avatar

We may not even survive until the midterms.

Rebecca Hall's avatar

Aw...maybe we oughta send them all a strongly worded letter....

(No offense to lettervwriting campaigns - just the S-man)

Said it before, I'll say it again: Since Inauguration Day, Donnie's been doing nothing but troll all the people stupid enough to vote for him again. Voters who thought he'd be 'good for the economy because he cares about average Americans' have gotten a parade of billionaires at the inauguration and in the cabinet, along with the billionaire nazi who's taken a chainsaw to federal jobs, veterans benefits, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. Followed by Dull Donnie's tariff wars with the whole world that's taken an economy that was 'the envy of the world' and stomped it into the gutter.

The religious MAGAs have been treated to Donnie's endless self-dealing, grifting, and a boatload of human rights abuses as a chaser. Now, he's even parading around his dime store social media as the pope - a tiny-handed middle finger to all the MAGA catholics, including the bishops and cardinals who've assured us he 'takes his christian faith seriously.'

Never mind his blather about a third term, even Dull Donnie knows this is his last rodeo. The thing his voters never figured out was that his revenge tour included them - because narcissists never respect people they can manipulate.

I’m not just counting the days until his removal, I’m also wishing that I were Jeannie and could just blink my eyes or Samantha and could wiggle my nose so that I could have an immediate removal. I feel so sorry for those who have already lost so much, and I fear that the worst is yet to come.

I am waiting. So hard.

Just texted back & forth with my nephew. He, & all of my extended family, save one other nephew & his wife, are all trump voters; so I occasionally drop them a very short vid or blurb about the derangement & corruption going on. His reply was that “I am happy with my vote.” Then also proceeded to say that Democrats are terrible & disgusting. 🤷‍♀️ I just wonder how much worse it’s going to have to get for him to change his mind?????

Maybe starving and sick in the streets.

Well, I had the name Bender first. 😉

"the dumbest Me-damned student to ever attend Wharton Business School (because his daddy got him in)."

Correction: Donald's older brother, Freddie, had a fraternity brother in Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania and persuaded him to accept Donald: IOW, he got in thanks to Affirmative Action for white trust fund boys with 1.8 GPAs.

IDK if Wharton ran the undergraduate business school at UPenn. I am pretty sure Ben Franklin rolls over in his grave every time Donald brags about attending there.

Nancy's avatar

Wasn't Freddie the one who was Mary Trump's dad? The one who didn't follow in Fred Sr.'s bootsteps like Donnie-Boy or any of the other kids, so he was all but disowned and drank himself into an early grave because of all the hideous pressure on him (seriously; I think his daughter became a psychologist [psychiatrist?] as a response :-/)? :(

Few lives these jerk-faces can't destroy. :(

Rebecca Hall's avatar

Yes! Mary Trump is wonderful, and yes, she is a psychologist! And her father was a better man than Donnie or dad... watch Mary Trump Media - she delivers the truth with dry humor. On youtube...

I wonder how long that stollen will stay fresh?

“But lo, the tide turns, for Trump is now unpopular in every single swing state.” Too little too late. You drank the KoolAid for years! You never seemed to understand that it was only to sweeten up your face for the leopards. Moron tastes better with that artificial flavoring. And now it’s dessert time for the leopards. Say good bye to your face. And maybe the leopards will eat your brains too. You aren’t using them. And your spine, it is so nice and soft and tender, like a wet noodle. And of course your heart, black and nasty as it is. Leopards would like to get their teeth into your soul, but you sold that long ago. Leopards’ teeth marks on your face, literally The Mark of the Beast. Guess you won’t be raptured up into heaven. So sad. Not.

Nancy's avatar

Hmm; well, maybe the heart is carbonized, so it'll help filter the poison of all the rest of it. :-/

Come out for protests on June 14 & June 6!!! We need everyone!!! Indivisible and others organizing a big day of nationwide protests on June 14 to counterbalance Trump's hideous birthday parade. Details forthcoming at nokings.org

Also ... plans for a big rally of veterans in DC is building for June 6, anniversary of D-Day. See unite4veterans.org. The Dropkick Murphys band will perform at their rally!

It’s 2 am and just woke up. I think you have about 90 days before Trimp declares martial law and suspends the constitution, or tries to. This is when the military will join law enforcement and a manufactured event will lead to the decision on martial law. The Trimps want to be the next Kim Jong in USA. Eric posted a comment that’s been taken down referring to something ‘so much more worse’. 90 days is what I believe is all you have b4 this happens, get prepared. Not a drill.

Sarah3000's avatar

I believe you are correct. I saw the news that he has written an executive order to install the military into local police precincts in the next 90 days. This is absolutely against the Constitution. We will be in a world of hurt if this does happen. Especially brown and black people, of which I am one. If only Congress would grow and spine and Impeach him. Otherwise, we are looking at a lot of violence and a lot of terror unleashed upon the American public. God help us.

Empathy Is A Super Power's avatar

They claim to have multiple dems who have separately written for articles of impeachment. The first was Al Greene. But you need to look into Trump excusing excessive force from cops and now encouraging it. It’ll be governors calling in the national guard. Mine, a democrat, did a month or two ago for may or June. I wish we could show our votes and seek asylum from this hellhole. Canada- we welcome your takeover.

Jan Frederick's avatar

They may feel like they "own the Libs", but they now own less of what they had before. I would love to ask them "was it worth it?" Things are just going to get worse. Wait till they are standing in front of empty shelves or can't find anything to buy their kids/grandkids for Christmas without taking out a loan (if they would even qualify for one).

Thank you, God! Amen! Awomen! Ramen!

Sarah3000's avatar

The toys are one thing...but I'm more concerned about the scarcity of basic necessities like food. People can't seem to understand just how bad it's going to get until it happens. Then it's too late.

Jan Frederick's avatar

There is a Substack called "The Preppers Journal" - here is the link: https://preppersjournal.substack.com/p/10-items-to-get-before-the-tariffs?utm_source=%2Fbrowse%2Frecommendations&utm_medium=reader2

I actually have stocked up on a lot of these things already. I started stocking up right after Jan 20th. I think there will eventually be a mad rush once these Magas wake up.

Robot Bender's avatar

So have we. I just came back from a run to Costco. The prices on some things were noticeably higher. 🤔

Jan Frederick's avatar

Yes, I have noticed an increase in many of the items I buy often. I think they will go up even more as they become harder to obtain by retailers. I also bought a couple of bigger ticket items that I had been thinking of getting like a weedwhacker. Fortunately, it is just my son (grown) and I, so don't have to buy huge quantities like people with big families.

Sarah3000's avatar

Thanks, I'll check it out. I don't have a big family, but some of my relatives do. I warned them this week about what is about to happen. I have also started a fruit and vegetable garden. I am trying to prepare for when there's no product coming in from Mexico and when all the immigrant workers are gone (deported).

A Victory Against Trump Garden! :)

I grew up in houses with gardens in the backyard, always, but now we're in an apartment... :(

With a northern exposure, so we can grow ferns and fungus and that's about it. :(

May yours grow well! :D

Sarah3000's avatar

Thanks Nancy. I like the Victory against Trump" garden idea. It's an updated version to the Victory garden from World War II.

5 college deferments at Wharton to avoid Vietnam, and Dumpy didn't learn a youdamn thing. Because it was never about getting a business education, it was about not being one of the "filthy peasants" being sent off to war. Not that the Army would've actually accepted him, the worthless fucknut.

Sarah3000's avatar

I read that he got the deferments from a doctor who lived in one of the Trump apartments for bonespurs, which didn't exist.

Nancy's avatar

I hear it was Freddy not wanting his li'l tax write-off to get killed while he was still useful ("I don't CARE how well you're 'gonna score with those Vietnam chicks,' you AREN'T GOING!").

deniway's avatar

"You voted for a Russian asset who was the dumbest Me-damned student to ever attend Wharton Business School (because his daddy got him in)." - This isn't even DEI - it's worse. Frump is an entitled f-ing rich baby. Hope it comes back to him in SPADES. And his billionaire bros, too.
