Yep, and then God can push the giant toilet handle up in heaven and flush em all right where they belong. If a few innocents get lost in the shuffle, oh well. Satan has the lawyers and clerks to sort through the paperwork and get em back up there.
Yes, good point! Or. alternatively... I'd be willing to bet any Rapture Sucker that it WON'T happen tomorrow. They can pick the amount, up to their total net worth! I can't see why they wouldn't want to bet the farm, since they won't be needing it! I doubt I'll have ANY takers... oh, ye of little faith (Matthew 8:26, Matthew 14:31, Matthew 16:8, and Luke 12:28) I would also bet that about 100% of these gullible people also have been bamboozled into believing that the earth is less than 10K years old... SMH
Tomorrow is a special day but it has no connection to the Rapture! Tomorrow is the first day of Rosh Hashana when Jews all over the world celebrate the start of the Jewish Year. It is a time of retrospection and thinking about our actions and behaviors in the past year. This leads up to Yom Kipper, the Day of Atonement, when God inscribes you in the Book of Life for another year if you’re deemed worthy. L’Shana Tova to all who will be celebrating.
It's laughable that those same bigoted, hateful, "Christians" think they'll be raptured. I sure wish they'd be whisked away and let the people who actually follow Jesus' teachings stay here.
There is no such thing as a ‘Rapture’. This concept/legend arose from willfull misinterpretation of Pauline Epistle content.
The christian faith has been infected with this millennialist, wishful thinking for over 1200 years. MANY, many times, especially on ‘special’ years or anniversaries, the ‘faithful’ have gathered for their hoped for ascent.
Often on hilltops or building tops, they would await being plucked from this evil controlled world.
NOPE.
Not one of these mislead, or sometimes delusional people has ever been lifted into the air to meet their Lord. No one.
The eschatology movement is founded in false prophets and wilful, manipulative misreading or exegesis.
Sadly for me I have watched so much of the believing community descend into this hyper-focus upon ESCAPE.
Jesus speaks through the Gospels. If you are a believer or if you think he was simply a good man points the way ~ you need to know none of this is supported by his recorded words. NONE OF IT.
His words are a beautiful framework for living a good and happy life in a complicated and often difficult world. His gospel of PEACE is obviated in his recorded words.
Jesus never spoke of Paul’s ideas.
Paul assures us he is channeling “The Lord”. I posit Paul was a man trying to work out the complicated path for Jewish man and a Pharisee. Paul persecuted believers after Jesus death and felt tremendous guilt, rightfully so.
Paul’s words have been manipulated to give power to men ‘interpreting’ them to control and guide people.
This whole thing has warped Christianity and the practice of the faith in the contemporary world.
So WWJD? He surely would not speak and act in the way republican and conservative movements claim.
This is not a guess; this is from a close reading and study of the base scriptures and the claimed words of Jesus himself.
So I’m sitting here thinking a couple of things. First, if their clothes are left here does that mean they’re naked? I mean, I’m pretty sure no wants to see that in heaven or anywhere else. Second, why are these people so sure they’re going to heaven? Finally, why tomorrow? Does this woman need money and has she included a link for all of the raptured to send her the proceeds from all the stuff they sold? If she hasn’t, she’s missing out on a business opportunity. Now I am going to go and play ball with my dog who is a much more sensible individual than these twits.
OMG how many times has this happened in so many cults? Branch Davidians and Heaven's Gate cult were two of them. The "Heaven's Gate" cult thought they were going to but "sucked up" onto a spaceship and taken away and the Branch Davidians were in Waco and that ended truly badly! They weren't quite in the same boat but "believed" in things they were told. There was also the one in South America where they literally "drank the koolaid with poison in it" and they all died. Not great endings for cult situations but they all have some leader that tells them the end of the world is coming and obey and die. Not a good scenario!
At the end, Jones' elite patrolled the killing ground with automatic rifles, encouraging those who wavered. The children, if I remember right, were the first to drink, followed by the parents and lastly the guards and Jim.
I hope they all get raptured in one fell swoop! WHOOSH! 👋👋
Wouldn't that be nice? Please, take them away!
Can’t wait for the departure
Yessss,😁
😊
😊

Hope Satan has plenty of room for all of them 😏
I still like the t-shirts proclaiming:
"The meek shall inherit the Earth.
The rest of us will head toward the stars!"
Sad thing is, their star ships keep exploding on take-off. 😆 ✌🏼
I lived among the rapture crowd for a while. They are the same folks who wonder where their farm hands have gone too. Not too smart.
Just tell them, "ICE, ICE, baby!" or that their farm hands were better people than they were and got Raptured. ;)
Snorting hot beverage reading that one
Yup I remember too ,the stupid gets passed down the last 40 years 🤪
If they were so sure, wouldn’t they just give the car (and all else) away?
That would be the charitable thing to do, yeah; where you gonna spend your car-selling cash in heaven? ;)
And taking cash from some poor soul you think is doomed to Hell-on-Earth for a thousand years.
The Xtian thing to do?
You’d think.
They’d better spend that car money fast.
That’s for the borderline believer, covering his bases 😉

Atonement should be much more widespread and then maybe we wouldn’t have to count on UFOs-I mean the rapture-to make life more livable

I was REALLY hoping that they would all go away tomorrow. But I understand, God. No one wants these people. Not even Satan.

I think Paul ate some psychedelic mushrooms and wrote a book.
I LOVE the idea of putting clothing on the lawn. 🤣🤣🤣 If I owned my own home, I'd totally do this!
So I’m sitting here thinking a couple of things. First, if their clothes are left here does that mean they’re naked? I mean, I’m pretty sure no wants to see that in heaven or anywhere else. Janice, think of it this way: When Obi-Wan Kenobi 'died' he just disappeared. He left his robes behind. Same with Yoda and Luke.
But yet, when you see them in their Force Ghost apparitions, they're not floating in their skivvies.
So when we leave this earth, our spirits are wearing clothes. We're just the younger, free-spirited versions of our former selves.
Also, I knew these chucklefucks are using the Rapture as a means to grift. It's on brand.
Lord, God knows I needed that laugh! XXX
in reality tomorrow is my 76th birthday! who are these people and why are they fucking up my birthday???
My 68th is Thursday. Can they wait until after that?
But if they go on your birthday, you have TWO things to celebrate. Yay!
Happy birthday week cheers to you 🥳
Thank you!
Happy birthday cheers to you ! 🥳
Yeah! If only…fingers crossed 🤤
I mean, the rapture does sound pretty good compared to living in the US right now, just sayin'...

Jim Jones and The People's Temple.
Thank you Carla now that you said it I remember it. It was in Ghana I believe! They all drank the kool aid and they all perished!
At the end, Jones' elite patrolled the killing ground with automatic rifles, encouraging those who wavered. The children, if I remember right, were the first to drink, followed by the parents and lastly the guards and Jim.
I know (barely) of one that didn’t drink it but watched his family do so. It ruined him.
I don’t know about the rapture, but it would sure be nice to see a judgement day. I want the concession stand selling popcorn for that one.
