Oh, well— so much for my bright idea that he was put up to it, then murdered and thrown in the Mississippi so he wouldn't finger Peter Thiel, or whoever else paid him, forced him, or put him up to it....

I really wanted it to be Peter Thiel, because that man belongs in prison right next to Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

SLMontgo's avatar

I support your bright idea, but fear it will be true all too soon. One wonders what his incarceration will teach him ..... Although I would like to support people here asking us to use Venmo, I refuse to use anything with Peter Theil's prints on it..

DR Darke's avatar

Does this mean I need to be boycotting PayPal? 🤦‍♂️

It's so hard to remember which treasonous Broligarch owns what any more....

SLMontgo's avatar

I already refuse to purchase from any online business that does not accept my conventional bank card. I don't want PayPal knowing I even exist.

Nancy's avatar

It doesn't have anything to do any more with the Muskrat, at least... :-/

Rob Schneider is so washed up he’s shrunk 2 sizes

I’m already a subscriber's avatar

Yeah, I didn’t know he was that person; what he said is crazy and evil. I’ll never laugh at his comedy again.

Katy Lea's avatar

Yeah, he's been a loud MAGA shitbag for a while. Very disappointing.

Nici's avatar

I just wanted to say that he's not registered as a Republican as in Minnesota we don't declare a party.

In 2016, when placed on the nonpartisan committee by Governor Mark Dayton, he declared himself to be not politically affiliated. He declared the same when reappointed by Governor Tim Walz.

Magats are trying to spin this to mean that he's a Democrat because they are too stupid to know what nonpartisan means?

Nina Gilliam's avatar

But he was registered as a Republican in a different state he lived in before moving to Minnesota.

Thank you for this, God. You are an uplifting voice of reason in a world of hate and authoritarianism!

We have common sense, compassion and acceptance on our side! We will resist and never be silenced. 💙

Rob Schneider isnt' even a has-been. He's a never-was. He's as boring, humorless, and moronic as his so-called "acting". He deserves to live in obscurity. I'll leave his soul (if he has one or a remnant of one) up to God.

Lisa Nystrom's avatar

His claim to fame is being Adam Sandler’s co-star… that’s it.🙄

Thank you, God. We even had your Son at our protest rally here in New London, Connecticut. He was holding that quote from Scripture about the least of us.

Love it! From NL!

Had MANY friends in attendance! Go NL.

I am from Minnesota and one city away from Brooklyn Park. I have family that lives on that golf course. I have been so horrified by the response from people on local media sites, the deflection of truth and the blaming of one party or the other. We the people are so divided right now and the only feelings I have are great sorrow and huge amounts of apathy for those people. I wish I could feel different, I wish I could hate but it's just not in me.

Kate's avatar

My cousin lives around the corner from her. Horrible!!!

Beth A Hoxtell's avatar

It was. Still proud of my state though, the number of people protesting was amazing. My cousin had a No Kings Day protest in Cokato, very small town. It started with 2 and ended up with 7, and a promise of 4 teenagers to join the next one. I'm so proud of her efforts.

Nancy's avatar

I believe it was in a Doctor Who episode where it was said that the opposite of love wasn't hate, but indifference...or maybe it was "hatred is too strong an emotion to waste on someone that you don't like."

Along those lines...

Lisa Nystrom's avatar

Never was a big fan of Schneider… he’s not funny… here’s hoping he loses lots of movie offers over this… oh that’s right, he was never first on any casting director’s list.😂

It is utterly amazing how quickly they can generate their lies. Then the lie gets repeated continually until it is widely believed to be fact.

Samantha's avatar

Which is one reason we must get rid of the whole administration. These people are behaving like a disease and I am not certain of the cure.

Kate's avatar

No offense to you or anyone else here, but I think we need to get rid of the US. As an Expat living abroad, and seeing all of this from the outside, I don’t believe there is anything worth saving. I am absolutely terrified for the people I love.

Dr. Fake Smile's avatar

That’s kinda a mean thing to say, Kate. Don’t insult the Americans who plan to stay here and fight. We want to take our country back, not leave it for the MAGA dogs.

And don’t give up on the heartland…there are good people here and we can’t all leave.

Some don’t want to leave. Like me.

Stay and fight for my homeland.

Resist. Persist. Prevail.

I’ve been saying we need to secede, preferably to join Canada. The MAGAts can have their Confederacy and other states, while the west coast, some northern states, all of New England and the eastern seaboard as far as Delaware and Maryland can join together. We can trade real estate to get the blue dots here and our MAGAts out.

Bronwyn Halls's avatar

In Australia we notice this: the closer you get to the Equator the more feral and maniacal people with white skins become. (Having a lovely long coast with sea breezes may mitigate the effect somewhat, e.g. California.)

By all means slice off the sane States and secede. What's left can surround itself with a nice brick, metal and barbed-wire laser and gun-emplacement MAGAwall and roast in its own beer and sweat. As long as they let the sane ones out.

Cat's avatar

Typical disgusting projection by republicans. The Republican Party is a terrorist organization and has been for years. They need to be called out for this loud and clear and relentlessly.

Samantha's avatar

Yes, I agree. The only problem is the MAGA'S only credit Fox News and will not listen to anything that contradicts the narrative. Stupidity and a complete refusal to acknowledge and accept the real world has led them to create a fantasy universe out of Trump's darkest dreams.

Nancy's avatar

People often blame ignorance, but all that means is "gnoscere" = "to know" and "in-" = "not." All that means is, you just don't know something about something; nothing to be ashamed of. It's the easiest thing in the universe to cure; once you know something about something, bingo! You're cured of your ignorance about it! :D

WILLFUL ignorance, on the other hand, like what MAGA fosters = "stupidity."

Corinne Driscoll's avatar

Amen. Don’t know what I would do without you. You put things in perspective and give me hope. Thank you.

This “Pastor”, “follower of Jesus” and Trump supporter decided that murdering innocent people was his duty…

This is the disease of MAGA ☠️

This is the disease of White Christian Nationalism ☠️

This needs to be addressed and ended immediately 🇺🇸

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, they say. But it's hard to shine a light on evil that parades around in its mask of patriotism, a facade which only fools the other masked clowns who are just as desperate to remain in the dark.

What is so weird is that they are literally saying the same things about us. They really believe that we are the violent ones, we are the brainwashed ones who are out to get them. So astonishing. This is what cultural complexes look like!

I am beginning to think that the only way to get past this is to just always use a kind of super-translator that re-words their racist accusatory spluttering into meaningful speech, and then act is if that's what they actually said: something caring. They keep saying "All lives matter" as if it were all ten commandments, completely unable to comprehend why it's offensive.

Most people want the same things, most of us just don't understand how to get there. The best thing to do is ignore them (not the politicians or celebrities of course, they have to be held accountable)--but that guy at the pharmacy with his Fox News talking points-- just pretend to understand him, assume him to be basically a good person, ignore the foolishness, and then move on and fix the things that need to be fixed. There are way more of us than them, and they actually have nothing to fear from us, but they don't know that. They don't want to see a bloodbath any more than we do, but their overlords have spent millions trying to convince them it's coming. Like teachers at recess when all hell breaks loose, we have no choice but to keep things as peaceful as we can, and try to make sure nobody else gets hurt, while corralling the bullies and taking them to the principal's office.

Niquie Hutchison's avatar

Is there a criminal attorney among us? If so, can you please tell us why this MAGA Terrorist is charged with 2nd degree murder instead of first degree murder? It was premeditated. He disguised himself as a police officer. He went to the victims' homes with a loaded handgun. He planned out the murders. His victims were in their own homes. They simply answered a door knock. How the hell is this 2nd degree murder and not murder in the first?! I am seriously looking for an explanation and if you can give me one, I'd be grateful. I just cannot wrap my head around this. (And if one has already been supplied, please point me in the right direction. Thank you.)

Gaia Abraxas's avatar

The official announcement is that state law requires them to convene a grand jury to bring a first degree murder charge, which they are planning on doing. The second degree charge is just the first salvo.

Nina Gilliam's avatar

I'm not a lawyer, but based on other cases I've followed, they may have entered the lesser charge because they are certain they have the evidence to make that stick and knowing that they can file 1st degree murder charges when their investigation is completed and they have all the evidence in hand.

Niquie Hutchison's avatar

Thank you, Nina. I felt that this was probably the reason and that criminal charge(s) would be amended. I now see he faces federal charges as well. It just threw me for a loop that the ironclad evidence against him didn't warrant a charge of first degree murder from the get-go. I mean, there was a statewide manhunt for him. May he rot in hell with the rest of the bloodthirsty MAGATs from Jan. 6.

Nancy's avatar

Ah, no, let's not get the Feds involved with this; did he cross state lines to get away? If so, maybe, but let's just keep it at the state level...that way, the Mango Mussolini won't be able to pardon him. ;)

Nancy's avatar

The "problem" with places like Minnesota is that so far, they hadn't had reasons to be suspicious of people at the door (the way I hear it, there are even places that don't have peep-holes in doors as a matter of course!). But really, folks, we've known this for years in L.A.: if someone comes to the door claiming to be a cop, DON'T OPEN THE DOOR. Ask him to slide his I.D. under the door. Pick it up and call whatever agency he's supposed to be representing (local city cops, for example) and ask them if he is an actual cop, with such and such a description, etc. If not, let them know that there's a police impersonator outside your door and give them your address; ask them to send at least one squad car, because you're in fear.

Other folks suggest immediately dialing 911...

Janet Vasquez's avatar

Notice how the MAGA was so quick to say the MAGA terrorist was a left because of some certification he got to be a home security cop or some nonsense. But he's one of them. They are not having to scramble to get new MAGA talking points to cover up for their "MAGA buddy".

I’m so old (not as old as you God, I’m only about a thousand), but I remember when most people shared one reality. In the before times, reality was cheaper — before billionaires bought and paid for it. May truth be told. May peace prevail. May Love return to our hearts and minds ✨🙏❤️🤍💙💫

Gaia Abraxas's avatar

From one oldie to another--There was never just one reality, of course, but there was a consensus of sorts. There were only three major TV stations and they all said basically the same thing. It wasn't all primroses and champagne, ya know. The truth is that the fight for human rights has been going on a very long time, but we finally started making some real progress lately, and that's when that killer robot Status Quo started to ring hollow. Its days are numbered, and so it went hard on the offensive.

Sharon Heidē Ward's avatar

Yup. We watched Huntley and Brinkley 📺

Well, dear and loving God & Co., I am overjoyed that they caught him. I am also concerned that there are more like him just waiting for an opportunity to repeat this. I grieve for the loss of life and the loss of trust. On another subject, but is it really so other, the Bullshitter in Charge has found a lovely new way to exact revenge on his 'enemies.' He has issued an order that the VA is no longer to treat Democrats or unmarried female veterans. He claims it is to protect women. Uh huh. Add this to his mocking the shootings, his misuse of the military, both in LA and his stupid parade, and we have a week of increasing horror. And, just to make sure his will is made very clear, he has now ordered ICE and the police, and I assume the military, to invade Chicago and NYC and fulfill his dream of millions and millions of folk being deported to wherever he chooses. I am beginning to feel just a tiny tad freaked out.

Nancy's avatar

Well, silver lining: if all the troops are over here, "protecting" us, they won't be available for invading Canada or Greenland or Panama or wherever! :D
