It's always struck me as odd that farmers get all these subsidies and yet, they are very outspoken when it comes to pointing the finger and calling out "socialism" when people need food stamps or WIC.
It almost seems like they don't want their neighbors focusing on how much money they are getting from the government.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate being able to buy groceries, and the hard work and expenses that go into that process.
I just think we can all be a little more honest about where the money is coming from and who it is going to, and less judgmental when it comes to uplifting and feeding the less fortunate.
