Everyone is talking today about what a mess Trump was at the press conference. Yesterday everyone talked about Vance showing up at Harris’ plane. But the little mention I’ve seen about the Harris/Walz rallies have been about her saying, “I’m speaking” to Palestine protesters and a WaPo article talking about speakers using some mild four letter words. So Trump/Vance are winning in news coverage. Yes, what they’ve done is bad but their supporters don’t care. What they’ve done is hog the spotlight, keeping coverage off anything substantive from the Harris/Walz campaign from being reported on. And that’s what we need. To get the message out. I’m disheartened.
