Their orange Jesus has convinced them that FEMA is the enemy. I don't think they will be sated until they pick off a couple of them. It makes me absolutely f****** furious that he is politicking on the backs of my fellow North Carolinians who are suffering unimaginable loss right now.
I live in a blue city in a red state. When I venture outside of my area to another (red) county, I am seeing zero dumpster signs/flags/bumper stickers, etc. I have seen one pickup truck with a flag. It gives me hope that a lot of people don't want to be associated with the orange turd.
I am guardedly optimistic. I've seen enough to know that there is some weird stuff happening. I poll walked for McGovern, in South Central Los Angeles. I wasn't old enough to vote yet. Remember the hanging chads, and the F'd up votes? Kerry, Gore, and Clinton.....were screwed out of their Presidencies. I was totally floored when President Obama won, I thought OK....maybe I was wrong. I've been around long enough to be afraid that DonOLD will "win" again. And I'm SCARED about our future.
Exhausted (I had Covid and Paxlovid rebound last month). Behind on postcards. I won't lie that I'm nervous but I'm fighting to elect Harris/Walz ans save our Constitutional democratic republic up to the finish line.
