Jesus, brother, you are correct. While the rage and despair are understandable, I think it would be valuable to remember something that Martin Luthor King said. This is not a direct quote, but it is, I believe, something we need. He said that anger, properly directed, is a call...a demand...for justice. This means that 1) anger is NOT a 'negative' emotion and 2) we need to learn that love and anger can - when focused on the things, people and actions that are unjust - create justice without violence. The ability to do so is something that signals adulthood and a more enlightened approach to life. We say we want peace, but peace begins and has its home in the human heart and mind. Thank you for the reminder.
The side-by-side photos: The one on the right is a nice looking man, from what I can see of him. The one on the left looks like his far prettier sister. Look at the jaw and chin on both. That is not the same person, IMHO. As for anger that leads to murder....Jesus was so righteously angered by the money changers conducting crass business on the holy temple steps, He beat them. He did not murder them. Insurance companies kill people, so it's okay to kill insurance company executives? I do not believe that lowering ourselves to our enemies' level is ever righteous. Have your enemies....as long as there is Good and Evil we will ALL have enemies. We just can't embrace their shit and become them and still think of ourselves as a member of the Good team. Jesus never said it would be easy. And He ought to know, bless His heart.
It's kind of obvious, isn't it? Not the same person; one's male, one's female. Of course, I am prepared to be proven wrong and suffer the consequences....virtual flogging at the hands of my betters.
Dear Jesus - Wow. First time I've written that salutation. Anyway: It's time to stop the cheering. And I believe that our reaction should now be: Listen to the many voices crying out for real justice. Start a a real movement to end this for-profit, upside-down, wealth-care system, and replace it with a universal health-care system. We deserve it, we can demand it, and we need to fight for it. Thank you God and Jesus for continuing to focus on this issue and getting readers to work toward a solution. And readers: do your homework before you parrot the right-wing "reasons" why it won't work here. Thank you.
This week alone, Romania, South Korea and now Syria have fought back tyranny and won. And the American people can't? Get on with it! Unite, organise and take the fight to those bullies! 🤝
I do like a man of mystery, so if I had been the clerk I very well may have flirted with him, which probably would have been a nonstarter cuz I'm a guy. 🙄 But as a straight man who's likely pretty bright he still could have opted not to think with his you know what and said "uh, I have covid, cough cough" and not flashed her his grin. But...men are vain. Amirite Jesus? You know it. 😝

You got it Samantha. Turn this anger into demanding justice,.
Being an American is soooooo hard. The Nazi regime is making it harder everyday.

We may be wrong, but this isn't an exact science. Entitled to our opinion.
Satan is pretty too.
Doesn’t make him admirable.
And assassination is wrong.
Some things are just wrong.
It’s horrifying where we are with our values
