I heard "Bad Monkey" is being made into a series, but it's on Apple TV, which I don't have. Hope it ends up being shown on another service after awhile. God's Substack keeps me sane, Carl's books help me find some fun in this crazy, dark, era we're living through.

Another expert, possibly at another time, possibly at the same event, might've mentioned something about Nuclear Winter as a result of WWIII. He got the two confused and misunderstood.
Like with the "sweeping of the forest floor." Some expert probably described mild seasonal fires in the West as being important to "sweep out" the grungy underbrush fuel, and therefore help prevent worse firestorms, and he misunderstood.
Like with COVID; he was probably passing by and heard some expert speculating that, at some point, folks would eventually need yearly vaccines for it, just like the flu (FYI: the flu still kills people every year), and he misunderstood.
Notice a trend? If any of us, if any other sane, rational human being had overheard any of these things, we would've gone back to the experts to go, "What was that, again? I didn't catch that, but it was interesting. Please explain that."
