Reminds me of our dog, who had surgery on a hind leg. When he stopped limping, we'd ask him how his leg was and he'd start limping again for a while. After a little longer, he limped on the wrong leg. He was loved so he got lots of fake sympathy and cuddles. Nance is just triggering my contempt button.

Oh, Happy Birthday! It is a joy for me to read and respond to your missives, oh heavenly Dad and Son duo. May you have many, many reasons to celebrate. As to today's lovely expose of MAGA madness and stupidity...well, I must say that it gave me some much needed laughs. Of course they are desperate. They have absolutely nothing substantive or even sane going on. It is up to us, with the help of the Source of All Things - however one relates to that - to behave as if our democracy is real and intact and simply waiting for we the people to remember who we are. Hooray for You and hooray for us. We beat them back when we sent the British packing and we beat them back when they tried to hand the country to Hitler. If you don't know about that last bit, check out Rachel Maddows history on what was happening here with a catholic priest and American Nazis just before the big war broke out. I think the priests name was Father Coglin? Not sure of the spelling. The point is that every time the fascists tried to take over the joint, we the people stopped it. We are a fractious bunch and that is a good thing. Anyone up for creating a stronger, happier and healthier democracy?

My favorite sunsets are mostly Summer and Autumn. Thank You Both, indeed.

I can’t believe these people (Nancy, I’m talking to you!) do they ever get any work done for their constituents? Why are you paying her to worry about people’s genitals, toilets and other useless things? Does she actually do anything to make your lives better? I find wearing a tank top to be a classy look for an elected official. My boring Senators dress in suits. Sheesh. My Rep. will get wild and wear a dress under a jacket 😜.
