Living in the Country of California, I can give you a laundry list of things that I would fix, but I do really love the way Newsome is one of the few people willing to repeatedly tell the nazi circus peanut to go fuck himself (and yeah, I know what his end game is and that's ok). I feel the same way about Oregon. Did you ever read Ecotopia? There is much to commend in many of the ideas in it. I sorta have this sense of the entire west coast being a different country spiritually, philosophically, physically...pretty much in most ways. Hmm...maybe, if and when I can get my own blog up and running, I will dedicate it to this idea, with the aim of encouraging its real world and organically grown creation of it.
It could very well be a case of physical isolation, behind our massively extensive mountain ranges (and our much calmer, relatively, Pacific Ocean; that can affect things in all kinds of ways). :)

God, I am so happy I discovered your Substack. Way back in the day, You used to post this type of content on FB; I remember your God Loves Gays 🌈 billboard campaign, among other things. I got discouraged when I saw You were only posting lighthearted questions for fun and humor. What happened to all of the thoughtful and thought-provoking posts?

If Jabba the Rump hates Fox so much, why did he hire half their on-air talking heads for his authoritarian regime? For their qualifications and competence? HAHAHAHA. There must be a lot less empty wine and liquor bottles in the Fox studios now, what with Hegseth and Pirro out of there. Or, wait, Judge Jeannine, do you really drink box wine like they say you do?
If I may take a moment to defend box wine, I think it is a great value, it stays fresh, and the box is easy to deal with when the wine is all gone. Currently, I am a fan of the Black Box "Brilliant" collection of low calorie and low alcohol wines. They have a cabernet, a chardonnay, and a pinot grigio. I can have two glasses but it's like only having one.🍷🍷
The right wing chuds wouldn’t bother showing up if you weren’t making a difference. Look upon it as an alternate form of worship because of course they can’t get that right either.
