Some among them are probably feeling guilty because they regularly vote conservative and they are not willing to vote otherwise. The US doesn’t have a health-care system, it has a health-care INDUSTRY. Big difference. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so inane to watch these behemoth insurance companies like UHC (along with the dozens of other vampire corporations) now spending money to protect their C-class executives. Does anyone besides me see the direct connection to the bonkers notion that the way to deal with school shootings is to arm the teachers and install all sorts of security systems in schools? Dear God, I know that you designed life on earth - and pretty much everywhere else - as an expression of love and exploration. However, some humans choose to base their lives on fear - of You, of 'the other,' of life AND death - and they believe that, if they only have complete control of ALL of the 'others,' they will finally be safe. Unfortunately for all concerned, considering what they plan to do to these 'others,' they can only make things truly horrible for anyone who is not white, male and rich. White, male and rich are, for them, the hallmarks of the ones You love...the ONLY ones You love. They have actually named You as 'other' whenever You express love and concern for anyone NOT the aforementioned white, male and rich. Funny how they insist that only their vision of You and the rest of creation is real and true. Gotta love them old time religious wars, am I right? And all of this road apple thinking is behind all of the ills facing us. So, of course they have nothing real to offer to stop the killing of children. After all, the herds must be culled every now and then and, if that means allowing killers to do their thing, so be it. It is, in their terms, in Your hands. God's will and all. Not their problem.
