Bishop Marian Edgar Budde is a Hero. So many have shown cowardice when confronting that vile creature, and here we have a person who is willing to step up and tell him the words he so desperately needs to understand.
The response from him was what I expected, unfortunately.
The church service with this superb Bishop giving her words, was the only part of the inauguration I tuned into view; my God how I enjoyed watching 'him' squirm as she preached the truth inclusive of ALL! We ARE the United States of America with citizens of all faiths or none, all races, all choices - save for those that can physically harm others, such as murder; love thy neighbor, etc. Seeing the Donold's face as the Female Bishop preached was hilarious. Thank You God for protecting we Americans during these next four years of horror!
How dare she preach the teachings of Jesus. Really?! And in a church and everything. To think first of those teachings, inspired by her congregation. Appalling!
We must pray for the clouds obscuring hearts to be lifted.
Remember Trump snapped at the Pope also in Trump 1.0. And JD the hypocrite claims to be a devout Catholic?! Francis might not agree with JDs practices. Child separation monster Homan is taking the helm on deportation. Big time Catholic. Punch the sacrament ticket, walk down the steps, grab a box of donuts and revert to being a hyper cruel asshole. “She will have to answer to God for her beliefs.” Just think of how much DonOld will have to answer to You for his ACTIONS (and beliefs, too, I presume). DonOld, himself, was inappropriately in this church service. God and grift do not belong together! Thank you, God! Amen! Awomen!
I hope to be as courageous as she was in delivering that message! The churches in Germany kowtowed to Hitler. Dietrich Bonhoeffer was one German pastor who did not and he paid with his life. I have a friend who bought 2 copies of Bishop Budde's book "How We Learn to be Brave", one to give away. I am going to do the same because she just taught a master class in bravery right there. Not surprised our "so-called Presdent" lost all decorum befitting his office in his bully bleat.

Caroline, PLEASE tell the Bishop that this atheist, who was born to a Jewish Dad and Catholic Mom, thinks she’s one of the bravest people in this country. If I ever decide to attend a church service, it will be one of hers!
I have a dear friend who counsels college students at Rutgers U, here in NJ. She loves “her” kids with every fiber of her being, and they love her. Every kid is always welcome at her home and rarely a weekend goes by that doesn’t see some of them hanging out for pizza and party games. Many hundreds of kids have thanked her personally in graduation speeches, commencement toasts, and letters of gratitude. She has courageously risked her job many times, standing up to faculty, department heads, politicians and bureaucrats, in defense of students who needed a champion. I’m going to order 2 copies of the Bishop’s book on bravery: one for myself, and one for my friend for her office. I’m sure she’ll happily share it with many students, just as I’ll share it with my nephews. They’re in their early twenties, are just beginning their lives and careers, and considering our country’s cultural toxicity, can use all the bravery they can muster.
Keep poking the bear, shame his accolades on a daily basis. Shine the light of truth on the very apparent evil being foisted on us immediately, don't let it sit and fester without a shouted f**k no!
Problem is, whenever he and his cult followers get exposed for being the vile, sub-human pieces of shit they are, they collectively double-down. “Fuck you!! We’re now dumber and more sub-human than ever!!!!” And they’re proud as fuck about it……..
