Wait... wait... wait... I'm laughing so hard right now. Did that one turd cutter say the show was a problem because of "attraction to women." So, the most homophobic people on the planet now have an issue with being attracted to women... these fucking people. 😂

deniway's avatar

Weren't the right age women - wanted to see little girls perhaps (there were a few in the wedding scene but for them, not enough) eeeuuwww.

Lady Emsworth's avatar

You're not supposed to be attracted to ANYBODY, in the MAGA world.

Their mantra is "Hate Thy Neighbor."

Watching Bad Bunny last night was the first time in a long time I've been proud to be part of the U.S.

Amen, sistah!

Elmo should be deported? Okay, they think Elmo is a real person, got it!

My Spanish is un poco, however, anyone with a functioning brain could see the story Benito was telling. And it was beautiful!

Love is stronger than hate!

TrashPandaParty's avatar

Well, the late, great Hannibal Lector is a real person if you ask Donald.

Hablo poquito, comprendo menos 😂 but who cares? We all FELT it! 🙌🩵🤍❤️

It shows the lack of education in this country that Puerto Rico is part of the US and the flags they were flying was the Puerto Rican flag! It’s the uneducated that are the ones crying wolf

I worked counterterrorism with a woman who was an analyst and editor years ago. Her head exploded when I handed back one of her papers on Puerto Rico and said we don't deal with US territories. She snarled they are not inbthe US. I said ok your funeral. She tried to present the paper during a large meeting and got laughed out of the room. They walk among us.

... and procreate... and vote. 🤦‍♀️

And even worse, some of them teach.

Lady Emsworth's avatar

And complain that we consider them stupid. . .

TrashPandaParty's avatar

It would be the equivalent of someone from New Mexico flying their state's flag while performing. These brick brains can't put that together though.

Tracy L Cooper's avatar

As a New Mexican many in this country doesn't know we're a state!

TrashPandaParty's avatar

Oh, I know Tracy. I once watched a guy explain to another guy that he's not from Mexico, he's from the US, born and raised in New Mexico. I thought he was going to try and shake the knowledge into him. It finally came down to pulling up Google maps. I was just shaking my head. Good job with "no child left behind" GWB...

Tracy L Cooper's avatar

I was on the phone with a company and she asked me where I lived, I told her.

She replied, we don't ship out of the country. I explained to her, if you look at a map, you'll see a vast area between Texas & Arizona. She hung up on me.

TrashPandaParty's avatar

That is hilarious 😂 I can't imagine how often you must deal with that.

CatC's avatar

OMG- That is CLASSIC! Great Response! LMFAO!!!

The fake outrage is … what’s the word… ? Anyone?

That works! 😆🙏🏻💙

Yes. Sadly true.

I nominate this for Sentence of the Year (and yes, I know it's only February): "Hips were deployed exotically."

Amanda Perkins's avatar

Seriously? They raged against Elmo? A puppet. Grow up

deniway's avatar

Once again MY EYES didn't deceive me - I saw a wholesome, fun, celebration of life! And I danced around the room (non-stop for 17 minutes) with my 20 month old grandson! I loved the whole thing! And to know that each sugar cane bush had an amazing person inside! What ingenuity! And how many people were employed for this????

Karyn Milos's avatar

Seriously, the visuals alone were epic! One of the best SB shows I've seen.

Jesus, what a bunch of whiny little crybabies. I thought liberals were the snowflakes. Attacking Elmo? They really hate the stupidest things. And their hate reveals so much about them to the world.

Loved the show!

Kinda loving how Matt "16 is the perfect age for childbirth" Waltz keeps harping on about "languages one can't understand" while butchering the English language.

Hey, moron, you forgot an "of", your racist ranting looks even more like you're speaking in tongues than usually.

Bernadette Jaroch-Hagerman's avatar

I haven't heard or read a single whine about having ASL interpreters expressing music in another language. The deaf population were respected. (Although, the Interpreters were rarely seen on camera.). The racist attitudes solely around the Puerto Rican culture and language speaks volumes. Bad Bunny simply amplified their animus. For the rest of us, it amp!ified our desire to see how right even Elmo can be.

deniway's avatar

I agree - I was waiting to see the sign language and got maybe a phrase from the second song only!

Leu2500's avatar

oh for pete's sakes. a bunch of those MAGA tweets sound like the people who were shocked by Elvis, & Ed Sullivan not letting the camera show Elvis below the waist. & that appearance is old enough to be collecting Social Security!

DontPanicXLII's avatar

I thought the halftime show was cool.

Dear God, you forgot the commercials. The Christians seem to have gone from worshiping wealth to the great outdoors. Think they will lobby for the EPA with the creatin they placed in the White House? Probably not. Will the Mega churches actually helpbthe poor? Probably not.

Then we have the largest irony on the planet. Blue Square Alliance to stop bullying. Started by the Patriots owner Mr Kraft. Yep, the same one who donated 1 million to help place trump in the White House. An antibullying platform founder helps finance the biggest bully in our lifetime. But I like how you delivered the Karma Baby! They lost!

Leu2500's avatar

the same Mr. Kraft who got picked up in a south Florida massage parlor raid. and damn, he got out of charges because a judge ruled that the warrant the police got to video the goings on didn't protect innocent customers.

P J Johnston's avatar

Oh the hypocracy of our leader, he touted "HIS" half time show and didn't even watch it. THEN he complains about something that he didn't want to watch in the first place. It would be like he watching a Pow Wow and complaining about the Native Americans. (I could truly see this happening). I truly don't get any of this. Don't these people know that J'Lo is Latina or Ricky Martin is Latino. They never complained about them. I personally love Latin music and have no problem with their people immigrating here. But as it is said a lot "fear" breeds "hate." And HATE is never good for anything. As a matter of fact it's truly sad that there is so much of this in this country. Plus I thought that "other" show was supposed to be for all those that complained about Bad Bunny but it was airing on such an obscure platform that probably many of them couldn't find it!

Mary M's avatar

I agree about J’Lo. Everyone thought her show was great and commented on how great she looked. No complaints about her pole dancing.

Can’t decide if it’s hypocrisy or stupidity.

TrashPandaParty's avatar

J.Lo was wrapped in a Puerto Rican flag in 2020 at her halftime show and she sang in Spanish. They have the memory of gnat.
