I actually cried yesterday because I was sad for the wildlife in the fire and felt very disrespected as a canadian by trump and some fox news guy basically telling Doug Ford (premier of Ontario) that he is insulted that we don't want to be American...cause why wouldn't we. And he mocked Doug by saying "premier" in a nasty sneery way. We are Canadian and we love being Canadian just as Americans love being American. It all finally got to me in my feels. So thank you for your love.
And OMG, please, *please*, PLEASE send out our gratitude from all us folks here in Smoky Shakey Town, that we really, /really/ appreciate your first responders helping us out! :D

Appalling that some arsehat illegally sent up a drone,managing to hit the wing of one of the Csnadian planes. Said plane landed safely, but crucially is out of action.
Good news is, there were a couple other idiot drone pilots, and the rest of the drone community apparently jumped all over them on the 'Net and insisted they cut that crap out, or they're gonna get reported. No word I've heard yet on if the bozo that damaged the plane has been found, but here, it's a minimum of 12 months in prison AND a $75,000 fine, as well as paying for any damages to property.
And /then/ they'll probably get sued by the folks whose houses might've been saved by that tanker, 'cause lawsuits (and nope, not all of them are frivolous...) is the state sport here in California. ;)
