Well said God. With this miserable bully leading the charge against America as he plots against our allies, he creates the means for his own downfall. How much success can really come from being the most hated man on the face of this Earth?

deniway's avatar

And he WILL FAIL bigly - it's just a matter of time - how long O Lord, How Long????

deniway's avatar

"nothing like this has ever happened in the United States of America, and it should never happen again!" From Assolini's lips to your ears God - DON'T EVER LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN - get rid of this monster I beg of you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! DONOLD is right - WE THE PEOPLE DID NOT GET JUSTICE! Justice would be seeing this baby behind bars. MANDATE my butt - he won by @23,000 votes only. That is NOT a MANDATE. The only highly conflicted and corrupt judge is Cannon who values her own job over releasing the truth (report on the documents case). I certainly hope Judge Chutkin doesn't fold and releases something about the Federal DC case or someone leaks something about the Documents case.

I watched DonOLD's felony trial, like many of us did. Going into it, old loudmouth told everybody how he was going to fight and testify to the truth. During the trial he got the nickname of "Don Snoresalone"! WHO SLEEPS THROUGH THEIR OWN FELONY TRIALS? He NEVER had SHIT to say except his third-grade insults and threats to the judge's family. I would have JAILED that low-class lout for contempt and had him appear in court wearing jail clothes just to give him a message. The judge didn't want to make that asshole any more a martyr and thus gaining votes. IT DIDN'T WORK ON THE LOWER CLASS THAT WOULD VOTE FOR HIM ANYWAY! LOW CLASS LOVES LOW CLASS, BUT BEFORE TRUMP, I DIDN'T KNOW WE HAD SO MUCH OF IT IN THIS COUNTRY! I also would have sentenced him to at least four years before the election, starting the day of sentencing, partly because he has no thoughts of being sorry, he is a criminal. That traitor got off too easy. I pray for the day of his final judgment. He will no doubt try to hide in a corner to delay his one-way trip to hell. Musky can be with him. Let's see Musky the RAT and Trump try to buy their way out of an eternity condemned to the farthest distance from the source of all good.

If Merchan had, at least, made him go stand in the corner for a couple of hours, it would have made it a little better. The only punishment we may see is when his Magat hoard turns on him when they ALL realize that they have f**ked up everything by voting this POS into office. Once again, thank you, God for the uplift! Amen! Awomen!

Susan Fanning's avatar

I don't see them turning on him. They'll justify everything he does as "owning the libs." They're a bunch of masochists who love the pain he inflicts on them. (Please, sir, ma I have some more?")

It’s almost unbelievable how our brains can justify absolutely anything. They are in a cult and unless they break out on their own, no one will ever be able to convince them he is not worthy of their support.

But he’s still going to be inaugurated. And he will still be president. And we will all suffer for it. So God, tell us, is this really hell? Cuz it sure feels that way. Make it all make sense. Please.

One eerie quote I learned in Philosophy was: "Heaven or Hell is what we create on Earth, to live as is our wont." Our apathy has led to this, choosing to worship money instead of morality.

Susan Fanning's avatar

I discovered that it has led me to apathy. I tried so hard and did what I was told I should do to help elect a wonderful candidate. Never again.

Eleanor Dalglish's avatar

Apologies, Susan. I wan't criticising those amazing volunteers who got behind Kamala and pulled off a terrific campaign. I still can't believe she did not win.

I meant all the years before., looking up to the rich and famous. Spending money on cosmetic surgery so we can be "perfect". All of those stupid reality programmes where we can become rich and famous, like our idols. Money and vanity. People have gone so far down the rabbit hole they forget what it is like to be ordinary, because most of us are just that. They don't look to be a kinder, more generous person; they simply want some more butt filler.

They're so deluded with this fake glamour, they believe a crook like fat lad is rich and successful. They can't see a grifter, a liar and a pervert. They'll overlook all of that because they've had their picture taken in front of Rump Tower. He doesn't even own THAT - and it has his name on it! Fooled by a fool.

I know people reading this didn't want him. I see so much goodness in people like yourself, fighting to hold on to your country and its values. But money won. Leon bought a presidency and the most heinous man America has ever produced. Please don't be apathetic; the world needs good, moral people who won't bend the knee to a dictator. Sending a huge hug with my apology. 🤗

May I say something that I think might help, try to be like Jimmy (James Earl) Carter. Look up to what he achieved as the 39th President of our nation and all that he achieved in his 100 years. He is way more of a man than either 45/47 and his buddy Melon Husk. They are empty shells with empty promises. It's truly important to fight hate with love, apathy with empathy and all that they stand for with every opposite side. In the end Love and Empathy will win a lot more than anything they have going the next 4 years. Oh and that money thing, have you ever heard the tune, Money can't buy me Love! Think about it being humble, in the end is a much better place to be.

Eleanor Dalglish's avatar

America has overstepped its mark, openly threatening my own. We can't all sit back and let the Nazis win, can we?

P J Johnston's avatar

No we shouldn't! And we won't!

isabel robinson's avatar

Please don't give up. That's what they, those fascist would-be dictators, want.

I'm not from the USA and we in Australia are heading for an election wherein the current leader of the Opposition might get in.

Nightmare!

He, like Trump, has his own personal billionaire backing him, and he has repeatedly demonstrated, when previously in government as a minister and prior to that as a policeman, that he supports if not practises some of the most heinous and oppressive abrogation of human rights.

And tell me how someone formerly on a copper's income became a multi-millionaire!

We who want a fairer, happier and safer world have to stand strong, stand together.

P J Johnston's avatar

Isabel so sorry to hear this, I hope your candidate can beat the hate!

Dear God,

I hope you have something REALLY good lined up for Donnie when he finally crosses the great divide - and I don't mean just a "KEEP OUT!" sign hung on the Pearly Gates. . .

And I sure hope you let him get a peek at it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT in his dreams. . .

Trump never ever cites a statistic to support anything in economics or crime rates etc. since he is a data ignoramus. NYC has a lower crime rate than Miami and Jacksonville for example. Crimes per square foot in Mar-a-Lago are also much higher than NYC. It was like when Jim Jordan came to NYC to talk crime when NYC crime rates were lower than a slew of Ohio cities. He learned math at wrestling school. Best and brightest. What a crew.

Glenn Reynolds's avatar

PS. I actually see 6 major Florida cities with higher crime rates than NYC. There are a lot more red states with the same issue. Facts are pesky but are so seldom used by the MAGA Meathead crowd.

Susan Fanning's avatar

Memphis has the highest violent crime rate in the country; I believe it's about the same as St. Louis. If you ever get a chance to go to Memphis, don't. It's scary as hell.

Glenn Reynolds's avatar

St Louis other worldly in crime rates. Memphis not far behind. Little Rock in Top 10. Cleveland in Top 10. Milwaukee also. At Senate level a toss up in parties in top 10 but only the GOP side talks shit about the blue states and crime. They say Democrat controlled. Racist MFs who are happy to take blue metro tax dollars to take care of the MAGA Mental Munchkins.

Eleanor Dalglish's avatar

Thanks God. I am now so fatigued with Yankee shenanigans I didn't even check to see what he got. I knew it wasn't jail time or they'd never have shut the feck up about it on the news.

Fat lad had better be denied entry into the UK as a convicted felon; Musk, too, as an extremist terrorist. We'd laugh but the pair are utterly despicable lunatics with a death wish on the entire globe. Except their vile, braindead selves, of course.

Amen

Awomen

He is now barred from entering Canada. However, there is some lame talk about an exception because he's a president. Wow...I say we keep him out.

Eleanor Dalglish's avatar

Treat it as an invasion if he crosses that border... or, better, lock him up as an illegal and deport him back to the U.S. 😀👍

Susan Fanning's avatar

We are not all like that, Eleanor. There are plenty of smart and sane people here. It's just that it's overrun by rethug zombies who will blindly follow their master.

I am happy that Donald Trump has finally been brought to justice, at least for one set of his many crimes. His punishment will be whatever his own anger and hatred will do to his mind and body each time he hears himself being called a CONVICTED FELON.

BillyBobPA's avatar

It is so beautiful that we are protected by the the First Amendment as we can legally and joyously address him as a convicted felon. Thank you, God, for your continued immensely important trashing of this evil, incompetent, dictator wannabe. Keep up the great work. Amen.

Molly Burns's avatar

Suck it, Assface. (I just call him Assface. It’s not creative, but it feels right.) Love you, God! 🤗

Eleanor Dalglish's avatar

I call him fat lad. No intelligence to it at all... I say what I see. He no longer deserves the respect of calling him by his birth name, the contemptible turd. And he'll always be "Convicted Felon" as a job title.

tecolote42's avatar

First, Thanks be to God! Amen, Awomen, Aramen!

Second, Felon 47 is nutty buddy--that bit about "every legal scholar" is unmitigated equine biosolids. He can't tell the truth if his life depends on it. And he's sooooooo tiresome. In any event, we have 8 days before the horrible makes us more miserable (apologies to Woody Allen--Annie Hall). In the words of my dear departed Dad, "Cheer up, things could be worse...and so she cheered up and sure enough, things got worse." Love to all :D

Julia Fogg's avatar

I love ‘Convicted Felon 47’!

John Jacob's avatar

Felon 47 just can’t keep his ignorant mouth shut. Anyone else would be behind bars or paying serious monetary penalties. But this clown gets to skate…

He is unfit for any public office and should not be allowed to have an inauguration event, let alone be “president”…

Felon 47 is an American embarrassment, and should be treated as such 🇺🇸

P J Johnston's avatar

No he doesn't the title he got is the title he will have for the rest of his life. As if con man wasn't enough the list has just gotten a bit longer.

Jo Ann Feeler's avatar

I hope that the countries of the world that do not allow convicted felons to enter STRICTLY ENFORCE their policies. 38 countries including both our northern neighbor and our southern neighbor. (and more are probably ready to pass laws to keep him out) When and if he makes a state visit, Mexico should run headlines in their dailies warning their citizens that the U.S. is sending criminals, rapists. Maybe test him for drugs at the border.
