Livelsberger probably became depressed when he realized his "saviors", Mutt and Chump had no intention of ever fulfilling those campaign promises. He may have had PTSD and it contributed to his mental state. Maybe he realized he was one of those "suckers and losers" Chump talked about, but only because he voted for Chump. Lots of possibilities here. Thank you, God. Amen! Awomen!

Breaking news is the two suspects of the ISIS-inspired New Orleans attack that killed at least 15 and the Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas reportedly served at the same military base. Connected? We will see but there and where trucked were rented, line up.

God's avatar

Which base though? the largest base in the country, Fort Liberty?

Military radicalization. The military is faux conservative and blinded by faux religious fervor. Think Taliban with rank, privilege, and pension.

BTW

Your Blessed and Delightful Smites delight my Soul🌈🤗🙃😉

Yes, now known as Fort Liberty. The media is hyperventilating over the connection but it’s the largest base. And Turo is the largest car rental app.

Y'know...I wouldn't be too surprised.

Hannah's avatar

Yeah, but so far doesn't seem more connected than that.

(Hurriedly takes detonator out of car, after discovering most people don't keep one under their seat...)

I'm sorry they're taking other people down with them; they could think of other ways to destroy fat lad's regime before he becomes dictator for the longest day in history. We can at least protest peacefully and leave the MAGA assholes to do the violent stuff. They seem to have the full arsenal for nuclear war in their basements so they might as well get to use them when they sacrifice themselves to ConOld, their duplicitous false god.

I wonder if they're planning an insurrection on January 6th to stop the certification of the new president, whoever he is? It could become a quadrennial event for the feckless frenzied fascists.

Look after yourselves if you are out there protesting in the next few days, precious people. 💞

These events reinforce the notion that social violence is going to be part of the Musk/Trump administration. Count on it.

As a nurse who’s worked in the level 1 trauma and burn center forever here in Las Vegas I can tell you this would NOT be the first time some idiot went to the nearby Indian reservation and bought illegal, highly explosive fireworks thinking they would set them off near the city to be “fucking cool dude”. Only to blow themselves up.

I could be completely wrong. He could be a world famous terrorist or someone with a profound message for Trump/Musk. Until all the information is in, I’m going with just the usual idiot trying to make a big splash with illegal fireworks.

He shot himself.

"Indian"?

And in Nevada, you can't swing a cat without hitting some illegal firework seller. They peddle their wares on the side of roads, right in the open. Blaming Native Americans for something that's so prevalent is rather ridiculous. You sound like Kristi Noem.

Unrelated but amusing: the Tesla store in Tigard, Oregon has moved to the site of the former Toys R Us.

Makes sense, Cybertrucks are basically just overgrown RC cars.

Gisele Dubson's avatar

Maybe he planned to detonate the car from outside, but something went wrong. Hope we get some answers. The motive in the Butler shooting is still not known.

Dorvek's avatar

Delay, decline... detonate?

As homicide detectives assert, "there's no such thing as coincidence."

Musk is a dimbulb. And that's being charitable

John S. Way's avatar

I do feel like this was some kind of statement, probably against Trump. The cybertruck being used is either a coincidence or more likely expressing regret for having bought an oversized RC car.

...they will believe the lie and be damned.

Hannah's avatar

I am really not a bad person. I am sorry the guy shot himself and blew up the car. Well, I don't care about the car.

But, the picture of the car on fire in front of that particular hotel is fucking hilarious.

Dear God, I feel for this guy’s family regardless of why. I know this is a funny and irreverent place, but there are real people involved.
