What the hell kind of spa was he running at mar-a-lago that had UNDERAGE GIRLS WORKING AS MASSAGE THERAPISTS?????

@lms12311's avatar

My question exactly. When I was 16, my only job options involved fast food and/or babysitting.

Elly's avatar

My thoughts exactly. Is the spa at Mar-a-lago a spa or is it a "spa"? Maybe someone should investigate that.

Jeffrey Oswald's avatar

I’m sure the Floreda Department of Labor will get •right• on the job!

Susan W. Becka's avatar

A highly disgusting and elicit set-up for degenerate clientele…men with power and money and clearly NO MORALS.

P J Johnston's avatar

Great question Ruth!

I don’t believe they were doing massages. They were handing out towels and stuff (soap, shampoo, whatever) to the female spa visitors. That’s why Ghislaine was so insidious. She struck up conversations with the girls and invited them to come to Epstein’s place to “discuss” becoming models.

I’m already a subscriber's avatar

I got this from court testimony by one of the (poor) girls. 💔

Rhoda Ozen's avatar

An illegal kidnapping of underage girls kind of spa.

You know the Epstein kind!

Punkette's avatar

Virginia Giuffre was employed there as a “towel girl” (shudder).

Right? Man, he's SUCH a vile monster. A stupid one who's jaw flaps an endless stream of bullshit, but a monster nonetheless.

PhunnyPhillyGirl's avatar

The kind who prey on poor or desperate people with beautiful young daughters.

I am suddenly struck with the shuddering thought that this goes on all over the world by many other people of wealth and power. The only redeeming notion is that only 1% of the world has this wealth and power. I'm sure, though, its tentacles reach and exploit as many of us as it can.

Tracy L Cooper's avatar

Her father worked there as the maintenance manager. That's how she got "sucked in" there, too.

Nina Gilliam's avatar

I think you know the answer to this.

Bren Stokes's avatar

I read she worked at the spa as a locker room attendant, not as a massuse. A massage therapist requires training and licensure...not something a teen would be able to have. On the other hand, a lot of people don't believe in playing by the rules😞

Is the tenth circle of hell ready yet, God?

PhunnyPhillyGirl's avatar

I think the 10th Circle should have an entrance ramp...and NO Exit.

John S. Way's avatar

I'm sure it will be ready as soon as Drump dies. He'll be the very first one that goes there.

PhunnyPhillyGirl's avatar

Like having the Amusement Park aaaallll to himself...and Satan of course.

John S. Way's avatar

Aye, though t'will be Satan who will have most of the amusement.

Plenty of fat to throw on the fire.,,

Screw the tenth, jump straight to the eleventh.

Rhoda Ozen's avatar

There’s not a literal 10th circle in Dante’s Inferno being inferred to as the area outside of Dis.

Good enough for me!

Scott Bernstein's avatar

It feels like most of what is going on around us doesn't even seem real. It feels like we're trapped in the Twilight Zone.

Nancy's avatar

And not in a really cool episode with a "Wow, never saw THAT coming! How unexpectedly cool! :D" kind of ending... :-/

Scott Bernstein's avatar

Nope. This isn't one of the great ones like, To Serve Man or Deaths-Head Revisited. This is the worst episode ever.......

JudiLI's avatar

Just believe the women!

Domenick D’Angelica's avatar

Women should be running this country.

Mary Hall's avatar

Women should be running the world. Men have fked everything up for too long. The patriarchy must die. Make way for the rise of the female. We get good shit done!

Murray's avatar

Our Nations (the real Americans) included the women to make major decisions. The 7 Generation Rule was the go-to; how is this decision going to affect the next 7 Generations? Not how much money can I stuff on my pockets…

Nancy's avatar

...in this financial quarter. X-P

Angela Suraci's avatar

Hmm, makes me think that the "spa" at Mar a Lago may be catering to pedophiles too.

Khalila RedBird's avatar

I get the creeps even imagining being kissed by those lips against my will. Icky. Just because we are female no longer makes us a commodity to be stolen, sold, or enslaved -- even if lingering traditions still suggest we are.

Hmm. Maybe it's time to look into stomping out those traditions: the giving and taking in marriage; the value-added aspect of virginity; the phrase "man and wife" rather than "husband and wife"; fighting over a woman; --

We raised our children to be equal in a relationship. Thinking for themselves, valuing what is brought into a partnership, and value the relationship. It matters not what gender they are drawn to, the value is building together; not one being the owner over the other.

It's a start.

Ginger 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈's avatar

What a beautiful way to raise children! I only wish every child has the opportunity to understand (and live and love) equality. I was raised much the same, born in 1955, to parents that were PARTNERS, thankfully.

Cynthia Christiansen's avatar

Agree, it is a great way to empower our offspring. You are fortunate to have parents to help in this, especially at a time when women had to rely on men for housing and credit. With a supportive family, this needs no longer be an issue.

Our doors are always open to our children, and they have by far exceeded our expectations of them. It does help to not push them out of tge nest before they are capable of caring for themselves.

Khalila RedBird's avatar

So did we, and, in time, so did they. My parents did a pretty good job of it, for the 1950s.

Mary Hall's avatar

I was born in 1955, and my parents were awful -- their parenting style consisted of humiliation, beatings, and trying to control everything, including my hairstyle. I left home as soon as I could, which was before I was ready. I learned a lot of things the hard way but now at almost 70, I feel like I can handle anything. Anything.

Cynthia Christiansen's avatar

You must have had amazing parents way ahead of their time.

Bronwyn Halls's avatar

My parents were effing dreadful. Dad liked looking at me naked while I showered and wanted to keep doing so. I hated it, it was creepy, so at about 11 or 12 years old I started showering only when he was soundly asleep.

Mother said one day that this disappointed him; if I went back to letting him watch me shower he'd give her money and she'd take me out shopping and buy me "frilly underwear".

That day I was stricken homeless. Still lived in their house for a few years but no longer felt safe; left at 17 to go to college on scholarships. Was hacked into over and over for not doing what I was told. So the exhumation of this whole Epstein business is a nightmare.

Please God and Friends, work hard to make those responsible sit up and be sorry and the victims given all possible relief.

The South Korean Four B movement is having a big effect on their patriarchal society. It advocates for no dating, no sex, no marriage, and no babies and it is spreading worldwide because it's an idea whose time has come. There are so GD many mediocre and awful men out there. I finally found a good one, but I had to kiss a fkton of frogs first. If anything happens to him, I am getting a cat. A female cat.

And yet there are some leaders, no doubt even in South Korea, that are freaking out about this and trying to bribe people into having more babies, even in supposedly Communist countries where they aren't raising people to buy crap from capitalist corporations (or maybe just "buy" into Communism; goodness knows, it's easier to "sell" just about anything to young, naive kids).

Perhaps to, as George Carlin put it, raise 'til military age? :-/ "Conservatives want live babies so they can raise 'em to be dead soldiers."

And it's not just Russia or North Korea along those lines, apparently... :-/

At least with other civilized countries around the world -- hmm. Rephrase that... "At least with civilized countries around the world," some care is being taken to think about an aging population and take care of them (maybe that's why they want more kids? I don't get it...). Here, as we've already seen, we're gonna get hung out to dry the minute we're allowed to/forced to retire if we don't have at least 9 zeroes after a digit to our names. X-P

Or Germans; anyone who can come up with the term "schadenfreude" has got something going for them! :D

Nancy Crouse's avatar

How soon will you send Donald Trumpstein to Hell? Soon I hope.

Katrina Ludvig's avatar

He outright says things that prove his guilt and no one does anything about it!

Kelly Benson's avatar

Agree! It’s sickening and scary being a female in the world and a survivor myself, most importantly, I’m terrified for my young daughters. With Diddy, Trump, Epstein, and so many more rich, powerful men there are no consequences for their actions. Brave victims muster up the courage to go to court and testify and then they are erased like their hell never happened. Trump is virtually invincible as he’s done so many illegal acts for years and on a regular basis these days and literally nothing happens. If there were any other president in office, they would’ve been impeached and in prison by now. The good news is that Trump Stein is geriatric and won’t be on this earth that much longer. That leaves up with us with all of the pathetic Republicans that were his puppy dogs.

Yeah...that's exactly what it sounds like...gross

An eternity in everlasting Hell is too good for this pedophile President.

Eternity in Hell means Trump soul will survive him.

I want Trump's soul to be obliviated. Annihilated. So that Trump no longer exists, ANYWHERE.

Brenda Ball's avatar

We should be so lucky. 🤮

Devon Williams's avatar

No, his soul should still exist, so he can be punished FOREVER!

Domenick D’Angelica's avatar

Trump sees women as property and couldn’t care about whether they are being abused or in danger. Exactly what was his understanding of the “employment” that Epstein was “stealing” them to do? Were there any “male” employees Epstein stole? So many questions with answers that lead to one conclusion. He knew.

P J Johnston's avatar

Here's my take, when I heard him talking about Virginia and someone taking her away from him I said "Guilty as sin!" He has finally signed that "deal" with the Devil! You know the one that will never, ever go away, no matter how many documents they altar or pictures they erase!
