Noem is not introspective enough to know or care that South Park's commentary is not about physical beauty. It is about a superficial facade that cannot hide the cruel, grotesque nature of who she has become in service of an evil, racist cause.

Linda Unger's avatar

Spot on. My mother used to say, beauty is skin deep, ugly goes to the bone.

Rhoda Ozen's avatar

And sometimes, believe it or not, it’s about us making us laugh our asses off…

Ya’ think?

KHKate's avatar

She's always been a cruel, grotesque mockery of a human being. Dogs and goats will readily agree.

Gently, Jack Jones's avatar

Whenever I see her, my first, unstoppable reaction is that she probably smells really bad

Making it look like Tar-a-Loogie isn't because the existing decorations are dated. It's pretty obvious he's not planning on leaving the WH ever, and I doubt it's because he realizes his health is so bad he's not likely to make it to 2028. Taco Tits plans to live there the rest of his life.

Samantha's avatar

And it would not at all surprise me if he thinks in dynastic terms by trying to ensure that one of his awful offspring 'succeeds' him in the way that a prince becomes king when the old fart dies.

Baden Ewart's avatar

And we all hope for a very short life for the pedophile President, Conold the corrupt. Mango moron.

Leslie Goodman-Malamuth's avatar

The Epstein Wing would be a nice name for the proposed White House ballroom.

Doreen Dalesandro's avatar

Maybe it should be named the Trump Epstein Maxwell Ballroom for YOUNG Hotties.

But I'm sure agent orange will name it Trump Ballroom, with his name in bigly gold letters.

Mary Busch's avatar

This didn't take long. Newsmax host, Greg Kelly, is already suggesting that Ghislaine Maxwell could be a victim, or that there was a "rush to judgment" in her case. They actually think they can rehabilitate her reputation. It's so delusional but for hardcore MAGA they will buy it hook, line, and sinker.

Doreen Dalesandro's avatar

Unfortunately, I think you’re right, Mary. In addition to canonizing maxwell, agent orange and his maladministration are doing everything they can to erase his name from anything epstein related. And the maggots will fall for it, hook, line, and sinker 🤨

Ellen's avatar

Trump is so out of touch with “real “ people that he has no idea what it’s like to work for a living or to worry about paying bills. Of course he might not care if he knew.

Nancy's avatar

He pays his bills?! Ever? :-/

Glennz2013's avatar

I'm sure there are bordellos more tastefully decorated!

The gilding of the facade illuminates the utter trashiness of this entire administration.

May everyone associated with this abomination rot in Hell!

Samantha's avatar

Hehe he. My thoughts, exactly. He thinks it makes him look rich and powerful, but it only makes him look more and more like that portrait in the attic, as the evil comes home to roost.

John S. Way's avatar

I certainly hope you are right, God. I like to think we'll make it through this, but it always troubles me to think of all those who wont be there when we do, because of all the madness and insane policies.

Samantha's avatar

Which makes me ask - why in the bloody hell is this group of so-called adult human beings being ALLOWED to destroy this country?!?!? Why has Drumpf not been frog-marched out of the White House? Even with the Supreme Kangaroos granting him immunity, there has to be a way to get rid of them now, before they take away our votes and cancel all elections. Remember, Drumpf promised that we would have to vote anymore, cause he was gonna fix it.

Doreen Dalesandro's avatar

IMHO, agent orange should never have been allowed to run for a second term. As I've said many times, after the GA phone call he should either have been thrown into prison for life or executed for treason😡😡😡😡😡

You know he is going to wiggle his way out of the Epstein fiasco😡😡 Is there a single drop in the pool-of-plasma-formerly-know-as-republicans who will do what's right😡😡

I used to think we wouldn't have any more elections. Now I believe we will. The puppet president and his maladministration are already in the process of rigging the midterms. 😡😡

Samantha's avatar

Absolutely! I was stunned when Congress did not blink and went ahead with supporting that hideous sack of constipation. And, yeah, he will seem to wriggle out of Epstein, but I somehow don't think that even the magas will let it go. Even they despise baby rapers. Somehow, I am less certain that he will be able to rig the mid terms. Everyone is watching. What concerns me now is that he and his kangaroo DOJ et al are demanding the voter rolls and trying to take away the states rights in handling elections. This is a tactic right out of Goebbels and Hitler. This is how they choose who gets sent to slave camps, of which the nazis had 40, 000, and who dies in the ones like Treblinka and Auschwitz, which were primarily the death camps.

Brenda Anna's avatar

Those who can, but won't take action against him either stand to gain a great deal of personal wealth and power by allowing him to continue, or are frightened by what he might do to them or their families if they don't play along.

Samantha's avatar

Sorry. We would NOT have to vote anymore is how it should have read. Sigh.

Bryan J's avatar

Sadly I believe that while the Rs have spent the past 40 years planning for this day, in included having having enough “dirt” on anyone powerful enough in order to keep them quiet. As for the rest, I am sure they have received “notes of endearment” from the J6ers and thus have conformed. Pathetic, spineless 🤬ers!

Samantha's avatar

Actually, after taking a look at the history, the repubs, and their predecessors, have been trying to do this since Alexander Hamilton. Aside from people like Lincoln, they have been trying to end our democratic experiment since it began. It really heated up in the 1930's, when, along with a Father Coglin (sp?), the repubs worked with American nazis to invite Hitler to take over here. They even plotted to kill FDR. This is old, and it speaks to the fear, hatred of all things democratic, and disregard for the lives of We the People...in favor of power and profit...that is the hallmark of the modern party.

Samantha's avatar

Oh, God & Kid, I am so tired. I have spent my life fighting for and, when I could no longer fight, supporting the causes of freedom, democracy, civil and women's rights, environmental justice etc. But now, I find out, from Project 2025, EXACTLY what those foul monsters actually want to do to women. Please, folks, check out Joy Reid on her new show with this link. And, for the men who are our friends and support a woman's right to autonomy and self determination, please watch.

My god, these people are just warped and mentally ill. THEY need to be put in a wayward home somewhere away from the public. 🤬 sake!!

Christina's avatar

Maybe it's because I'm old, lol, but I feel like no one got the Fantasy Island reference -- Trump is the Ricardo Montalban character, Mr. Roarke, and Vance is Tattoo, his little person sidekick.

Tracy L Cooper's avatar

We old folk got it! Boss, da plane!

Jo Burns's avatar

After the fall, can all the tacjy, crappy glitter be removed and melted down and sold?

TWS's avatar

Regarding “…let them eat cake” was not meant that sugary cake with frosting, but the bakery coating concoction used to coat the stone lined ovens when baking things. This sacrificial material would turn black, but acted to help the oven maintain even heat and protected the stone from becoming charred itself. Each day (?), the blackened “cake” would be chipped out and discarded.

I hold that this was the “cake” she was thinking of when, and if, MA uttered this well worn phrase.

Jenn S's avatar

Thanks, Thomas! That’s so interesting. I was not aware of the true meaning behind the phrase.

Janee Jarrell's avatar

I was under the impression that when the queen was told the peasants were rebelling, she asked why. When told it was because they had no bread, she responded with, "then let them eat cake." There was no wheat for either and what wheat there was, was being hoarded by the wealthy.

Nancy's avatar

Marie Antoinette never said it; it was cooked up from Rousseau, if memory serves, and he said it way before the French Revolution, like back in the 1760s...just said "a Great Princess" or some generic character had "said" it and he was "quoting" her in one of his writings. :-/

JD has arrived to put baby oil on Satan's butthole. That tracks. Glad he's so pleased to admit it

Richard's avatar

I agree with you 100%! Btw, I love watching the show: South Park!

Cam Choiniere's avatar

Yeah, South Park is so "irrelevant"--That's why they're all blowing up! hahahaha

I hope that cheap gold shit is just Velcroed to the walls and marble fireplace so it can be ripped off at the same time the paved parking lot that once was a rose garden can be jackhammered out of existence! But what do you expect from a wannabe king from Queens? No class at all.

Richard Ramey's avatar

Noem is upset about liberals making fun about her looks. Because Donald Trump would NEEEEEVER make fun of how people look.

Here's some Trump gems: "Horseface", “crazed, crying lowlife", "fat, "ugly", "bleeding badly from a face-lift”, "high cheekbones"...and that's just women!
