I was able for now to get his RSV vaccine, a Covid booster before this got worse. Our local Publix noticed we both need hep B vaccine and he got his 2nd dose this week. I had one back in the 80’s and they recommended redoing since I am 74. So I have a second one in 3 weeks. We plan to get flu this month. It seems Publix RX is trying to really help their customers.
I am up to date on vaccines. I plan to get the flu vaccine probably this week. I just did not want together it in August. I will be getting the hubby his at the same time.He has 50% lung function to go along his long covid and being immunocompromised. When I saw my cardiologist this past week we talked bout vaccines and he agreed that not only do I need to get them the spouse needs the vaccines too as if he gets anything strong chance he would not survive . He is willing to get his vaccines.

Publix is a grocery store in Florida and RX is the shorthand for pharmacy that is located in the grocery stores. If you have not had the RSV vaccine I would recommend. It used to be just infants were susceptible but they now recommend it for seniors as it is a respiratory infection that is highly contagious. Hopefully we don’t have another pandemic until we can get our CDC and HHS back to some semblance of normal. I also highly recommend getting Covid vaccine every 6 mos as a booster plus the regular flu vaccine. All are still covered for seniors
I have asthma, too, and am "only" 60, so even though my doctor recommends I get the RSV (while I can), it's likely our cheap bastard work medical insurance won't spring for it. X-P

My 91-year-old dad can’t get the Covid vaccine. I teach public school and I can’t get the Covid vaccine. My husband works with the public and can’t get the Covid vaccine. The health department says they are no longer offering them. My PCP doesn’t offer them anymore.
If it's something enough people want - and are willing to pay for - there will be suppliers popping up all over the place soon. You might have to pay a non-insurance covered $500 dollars or so, though. And you'll never be sure they're not just tap water.
