Imagine being so filled with hate that you don’t like rainbows. Those steps look so inviting! Not just to the LGBTQ community, but to everyone. Isn’t that a good thing for a church? Hell, I’m an atheist and I’d like to run up and down those steps.
Besides, wasn't there something that God did, way back when, to reassure the remains of humanity that He wouldn't destroy the world again (through water, anyway)...not the olive branch, not the dove...what was it... I'm sure it'll come to me, the next time I see the aftermath of a rainstorm. ;)

What we think is "good" is a horizontal structure of equality, opportunity, flexibility, respect, dance, joy. They call it "woke" and decry it.
What they think is "good" is everything that grieves and angers us. A vertical structure of the haves and have-nots. The deserving and undeserving, the master and servant, the exalted and the oppressed, the triumphant and the beaten, winners and losers.
What they forget is that the winds of change will gently rustle a field of equal flowers … but fell a lonely dead and rotted tree.
Meanwhile, the most racist people I've ever known spent their time keeping and breeding animals and birds to fill the most astonishing, even appalling, range of colours, shapes and sizes to the point where the creatures' species were just about unrecognisable.
But just you tweak a human eyelid or nose or lip a millimetre and these same people are full of hate.
Reminder: "Different" is not "lesser".
