It was DEEPLY satisfying to FINALLY see someone do that. LONG overdue. It would be smashing to see more of the same. Not only for Trump but whenever one of his lying minions opens their trap and spews more lies.

Julie's avatar

I hope this empowers other people to do this. He won’t be able to make any public appearances. I wish more of his coworkers had chimed in. That would’ve been fun to see.

JP's avatar

Maybe Donold can do the same to the FORD brand as he did to TESLA? 🙏🏻😂

Bob L's avatar

Yes, it should be added to the boycott list. Assuming the employee is represented by the UAW, this was performative on Ford's part. He didn't break any shop rules and will be reinstated with back pay.

LJ57's avatar

UAW spoke out in support of this person who’s is a member

Time to boycott Ford. Another corporate pedophile protector. Bent the knee? Go broke Ford. MAGAts won’t save you. Too busy paying the premiums for their health insurance, dealing with their inflated grocery bills, and buying the pedophile in chief’s crappy merch.

I owned 2 Fords and they were both junk. Swore I'd never buy another ford-and haven't. Also, Henry Ford was a known nazi sympathizer so fuck'em.

Joy B's avatar

Unfortunately, a lot of people would lose their jobs if people did that. Hurting them by setting up a boycott outside of their headquarters and their dealerships would hurt them too. If only the boycott lasted for a week.

Donold has a few things in common with Henry Ford.

Love the Gacy reference! I donated to TJ's gofundme and this is what I wrote to Ford this morning:

"Good morning! We are boycotting all things Ford! How dare you suspend an employee for calling out the felon in the White House for exactly what he is! You started as a Nazi company and you continue to be a Nazi company! History won't forget."

JP Connolly's avatar

In fact History is grinning from ear to ear and you're so right, History certainly won't forget.

Denise Palesch's avatar

We cannot forget as long as God people remember.

(That was supposed to be “good people,” but here’s an auto correct I can support.)

Rob Fowler's avatar

Thank you. America has forgotten that Henry Ford was a notorious anti-Semite (he wrote an article called "The International Jew") and Nazi-lover....so much so that Hitler had a framed photo of him in his office. The company is simply carrying on its founder's legacy.

Joy B's avatar

Also our country did not bomb Ford facilities when they were bombing Germany. Money sometimes talks. I don’t believe this is still the companies beliefs.

"Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy."

(From Nemik's Journal - "ANDOR")

T.J. Sabula was decent enough to have his voice heard as he spoke the truth.

Trump's shameful response, while no surprise, was proof positive of how utterly small he is, right down to his short and fat middle finger.

Ah, this warms my heart. And then I immediately want to rage again. Can you imagine what would have happened, if Obama or Biden would have flipped a person off and mouthed "F YOU!?" Twice?!

Every day I fail to see how these hypocrites can even look at themselves in the mirror. But then, they might never even read/hear about this incident, because I doubt Fox would air it.

Carmen Honacker's avatar

BTW, so far we've raised almost 50k. I'm sure by the end of the hour we'll be above 50k, haha!

Leslie S J's avatar

By 10pm, it’s over $329k and they’re asking us to donate to other causes. Class act. Thank you, TJ!

Gayla Bjork's avatar

They probably wouldn’t show up in a mirror

Denise Palesch's avatar

Do the living dead have reflections in a mirror?

Bryan J's avatar

I currently own two Fords and have primarily owned this brand in the past.

NOT ANYMORE! 🖕Ford!!!

Carmen Honacker's avatar

Just don't go out with a sledge hammer and demolish your car :D

Robot Bender's avatar

Sell and buy something else? 🤔

Karyn Milos's avatar

What Carmen said. No point destroying functional, and probably needed, vehicles. But you could probably easily remove the little plastic brand logos they stick on vehicles. 🙂

Sarah3000's avatar

Yes, there's nothing more presidential than to tell someone "Fuck you" and flip them off on camera. Can you imagine if Obama had done such a thing? And the White House stating ,"It was appropriate response." The bar for "acceptable response" is now in the pits of hell.

Old Man Kerapsak's avatar

Dear God, please heap your blessings upon TJ Sabula.

Ford just sold a huge amount of white SUVs to ICE. I'd suggest the workers in all their plants start misplacing things on the vehicles they built. Electronics are the best way, fray a wire, don't completely tighten the bolts on a bumper.

add a tracking device

Denise Palesch's avatar

Women prisoners who were made to process fur coats for the Nazis did something very similar.

They used a razor to score the skin side of the fur to just enough that when the Nazi wives wore the stolen coat it would fall apart.

I laughed so hard when I saw the tiny little middle finger flip up. I had to squint to see it. What a man-baby he is! Pathetic!

Dianne K's avatar

A building contractor is working 2 doors down from my house. Inside the door of his panel van, he has a juuuuuge Trump/Vance sign. Every time I drive by or walk by, I flip him off, say, "fuck you, MAGA, and your CHILD RAPIST," and go on my way.

Dianne K's avatar

I drove by last week, the contractor was outside. I flipped him off. His truck and van have no name of who he is, or the name of his business.

JTolbert's avatar

Not just once did he say F*ck you, but several times... what a "whah!! baby" he is.

Mark Carpenter's avatar

My partner and I had been trying out a Ford SUV which we liked very much, and have been thinking about buying.

We're turning the car back in tomorrow, and looking at a Toyota.

Congratulations, Ford: you won your battle, but you lost the war.

Robot Bender's avatar

FWIW, it's not an SUV, but we ❤️ 💗 ♥️ 💕 our Prius!

Mark Carpenter's avatar

Good information. Looking at companies which are NOT Ford, and which do NOT support Trump, who make SUVs. (I have a vertical walker, and we need the space to transport it.)

Love seeing people step up to help with funds while he’s suspended. Speaking truth should not cost anything. Other people and more powerful institutions should learn from TJ so they won’t have any regrets either.

The Fact And Just The Facts's avatar

Thank you, Mr Sabula! I never get the chance to do anything more than show up at rallies with my baby, anus-mouth balloon with “Tyrant” written across it. So many heroes are stepping up. 🤗

JP Connolly's avatar

God bless that ford worker. Ford Company? Pitiful. First time I've seen an American President give such a vulgar response. He could have maintained a dignified silence (lol).

Bronwyn Halls's avatar

"Dignified" … a word far too long for this creature. His influence, his blatant contempt for everyone but himself have for decades now made the entire nation look coarse in all its dealings. Let's face it: he deliberately lied through his teeth to the voters constantly while campaigning, and in doing so stole the 2024 election.

History will not forget his filthying of politics: Execrable President Saturates The Earth In Negativity.

Bronwyn Halls's avatar

Terry Pratchett [in "The Wee Free Men"] points out that a hero can steal from the rich and fight against the strong.

The Rump, instead, loves to steal from the poor and fight against the weak. He calls it "transactional" and really gets his rocks off. Almost as good as fighting the morality that you leave children alone sexually. And stealing innocence and self-respect from underage girls: the ultimate victims, everything he is not. Oh, the inhumanity!

🤣🤣🤣 dumpty? Remained silent? 😅 Ha! Yeah, right. 🙄

The expression we used when our small children had meltdowns (usually indicating they needed A NAP), and which is particularly appropriate in this situation: "his wheels are comin' off."
