God, Glad you are feeling well enough today to post this. It’s been awhile since I followed boxing but when did they start allowing beards like Jake Paul wears? That can be a real weapon in clinches. But I guess it doesn’t protect you from a broken jaw.

Professional boxing rules state you can have a beard but it must be trimmed, under 10 cm, clearly show the jawline, and must not cover the neck. Tyson Fury is a good example of this.
I found pictures a picture of him from Duran Leonard I with a full beard. I saw other pictures of him from earlier with just a goatee. I think for Leonard Duran II he had a heavier beard that, if I am remembering correctly, was a source of dispute.
I've never been a fan of boxing and still find it sort of disgusting, but omg was it cathartic to see this. And the tiny smile on Anthony's face towards the end...<3
