Eleven! I think adding 4 Supreme Court justices immediately would definitely fall within presidential power and can be justified by providing one Justice per circuit court. I think tfg could be arrested for espionage. Besides the theft of top secret documents, he’s conducting his own foreign policy which is not allowed. A whole lot of republicans, including Ginny Thomas, could be arrested pending trial for the J6 insurrection. Those things wouldn’t even have President Biden breaking the law or acting like a king. btw, I really liked the image of tfg having his phone ripped away mid-“truth.”

I agree completely - our democracy must be saved and the traitors on the Supreme Court must be arrested. DJT must not be reelected!!! We must demand that Pres. Biden save our country, even if he has to utilize this newly empowered criminallity!

Margie Lynch's avatar

If it falls within Presidential Power, Guess What?? Joe Biden has that Power for very close to the next 6 mos!! What interesting things just might happen?? It would be an official Act, Right?? Complete immunity Right??

Larry's avatar

I have been preaching this ever since the 3 knew what ever they are, puppets were sworn in! Let’s put life back in the court and take away for life!

Margie Lynch's avatar

Whatever happens has to happen Now!! Trump cannot win and free his goon squad Facists, who destroyed our Capitol Bldg. to be his personal Army! Could the bumpstock decision have been, not only, of course, for the NRA, but also for their ER-15s! Anybody checking on whether someone, in particular, has bought up many bumpstocks?? Just curious!!

There isn’t a number that would adequately describe how angry I am.

Vote Blue, all the way down the ballot 💙💙💙

El Lund's avatar

I agree.

I've also run out of swear words, because there are not enough to use towards the 🍊🤡💩!

Robin J Minnick's avatar

I know it was satire, but what if he did do something along those lines? It seems like he could do a solid if dialed-down version of it. And thank you for your good work.

Naima (NM)'s avatar

Except the situation would wind up being decided by.....wait for it....the Supreme Court. They may be evil but not stupid. They mean business: end democracy. This is our last and best chance, this election, to stop them if it is possible. Everybody double down working hard to elect Dems.

Lynn's avatar

Ah but the corrupted court does not have an army. Their rulings are obeyed only by our good graces.

We could arrest them and there’d be nothing they could do about it.

Jill Messick Ward's avatar

Supreme court justices can also be impeached. Think when voting in local elections.

Vote blue.

Thanks for reading!

tRump made it possible! I think we should immediately take advantage! Put tRump’s ass in solitary confinement, along with his Supreme Court picks and the rabid Repubtards. Make America Sane Again!

How angry am I? About a 20. I didn’t watch the debate because I knew it would upset me. I soothed my soul with British mysteries. My thoughts? Expand SCOTUS. Enact an enforceable Code of Conduct including punitive action for biased decisions. Enforce the Constitution especially the Separation of Church and State. I’m old enough to remember when “under God” was not part of the Pledge of Allegiance and omit the phrase when pledging. Eliminate the Electoral College. One person, one vote! I advocated this in a paper I wrote in High School circa 1954/55. I’ll get off my soapbox now. I’m aggravated just writing this.

Margaret Maier's avatar

I want to be in charge of the code of conduct - no gifts over $50. Honorariums for speaking would also be $50 and they have to pay their own ways there and back, no private planes unless they pay out of their own pockets, no reimbursements. No free dinners. They pay out of their own pocket what the retail price of the meal is - if it's a charity, they got to pay full freight on their plate.

If they step out of line, they get a six months suspension with no pay. If they do it twice they are on a PIP and a third infraction, no matter how small, means they are gone.

Could Biden at least overturn the Supreme Courts crappy decisions? He should pull some sort of bold move to demonstrate why they have made some shortsighted, self-serving terrible ideas.

Élysse's avatar

Presidents can’t overturn Supreme Court decisions. Technically, he could refuse to enforce them through the Department of Justice or other agencies (which is what Trump plans to do, if he wins).

Bob A's avatar

I dunno. The supremes just said presidents can do whatever they want!

Jackson's avatar

Good point.

Kevin King's avatar

And it would be within the realm of defending the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Cori Show Pony's avatar

He has no consequences for doing so.

Moon Cat's avatar

The Supreme Court has violated the 3 Branches of Government. They have legislated a new Governmental Power and interfered with Executive Function of the DOJ, FBI... This along with Chevron which steals the executive function of regulation from the Executive Branch and gives it to uninformed Judges who accept gratuities pretty much destroys the entire checks and balances system. Biden has to step in to restore integrity. Expanding the Court to 13 is the very least he should do at this point.

Margie Lynch's avatar

Did no Justice realize that they were bestowing the same complete power of Immunity also on Biden?? What shall he do with such luck?? Imagine the avowed Constitutional Conservative Originalists found the Pretend word, Immunity anyway!! It’s all so confusing!!

Tell me again why Nixon had to not only resign, but also get a Pardon!! WHY??

Rebecca's avatar

You tease us with this glorious satire. I know Biden wouldn't do these things, but you are spot on to say Trump would. But what of other "presidents" to come? How will they handle the power of the president. We cannot continue to fight fair, because they don't and won't fight fair. We are doomed!! On a scale of 1 to 10 to add to the SCOUTS, my answer is 10! We have to make a HARD correction now because we may never have the chance again. Hindsight is for suckers. We need to be future focused leaders.

Margaret Maier's avatar

If this stands, if the president is a republican they will be a king, not a president.

Kerry's avatar

At this point my anger has reached about 73.5. I don’t truly want Biden to make himself into a dictator but I think unpacking and reconstituting the corrupt SCOTUS is an absolute requirement.

Margaret Maier's avatar

The way I see it is that the court is already packed. It needs to be unpacked.

Kerry's avatar

Yup, I agree, that's why I said "unpacking and reconstituting."

Margaret Maier's avatar

Sorry, I read it a packing. Oops! Should I delete my comment because it was a reading comprehension problem on my part?

Naima (NM)'s avatar

on a scale of 1 to 10, from me it's an 11. Can't you just smite those justices please?

Jackson's avatar

Seal Team 6: Report to The Supreme Court Building. Stand by for further orders.

Jackson's avatar

ST6: stand down and stand by.

Elayne McKenna's avatar

🤣🤣 Let’s ensure the list of names they get is correct! I know that sounds awful but I’m so sick of these corrupt justices and trump. Enough is enough dontcha think? 🤔

Jackson's avatar

It's time to end the charade.

Shannon Kathleen Larson's avatar

I say arrest every single person in Congress at the top of the Republi-cons treason on Jan 6th.

Trump is nothing without his loyal butt-dung beetles support.

Knock his enablers out first.

Margie Lynch's avatar

It immediately occurred to me that, at this very moment, Joe Biden just happens to have that Power of almost Complete Immunity for very close to 6

months!! What might happen?? Can Thomas and Alito be forced to recuse, as C.J. Roberts should have urged them to do long ago, on anything even remotely concerning J6??

Moon Cat's avatar

Biden could recuse them in prison at this time.

Rereally's avatar

Not Siberia. Putin will let have anything he wants. Send him somewhere he’s hated. Ukraine?

Moon Cat's avatar

What's wrong with Guantanamo?

I vote for exile to Antarctica

Bob A's avatar

Look no further than New York City

Margaret Maier's avatar

We don't want him though. Make Jersey take him. Atlantic City would be perfect.

Rene Flynn's avatar

We don’t want him either!!! F that ahole. And he already ruined AC, it’s still limping back after his last fling through. If you want him treated Jersey style, give him a custom pair of cement shoes and toss him in the mar by the lago!

Margaret Maier's avatar

I was hoping that AC would make him so miserable that he would walk into the sea - maybe with some cement shoes!

Rene Flynn's avatar

Unfortunately, “somewhere he’s hated” doesn’t narrow down the list of places. I think he’s hated everywhere

Hudson E Baldwin lll's avatar

You’re mistaken about Putin. Donnie is expendable. That’s why he kept coughing more members of the GOP. That said, it’s no different than corporate executive and I stay cold in class owning the democratic party leader ship.

Margie Lynch's avatar

My thoughts exactly!

Peggy Thomas's avatar

If he wants to save the Democracy he will need to add more justices.

TN's avatar

Please god! Make it so!

I was thinking Gitmo, but Siberia works.

I think Antarctica would be a good choice!

Kevin King's avatar

I'm voting for a pine box in a shallow, unmarked grave.

Margaret Maier's avatar

Could we at least make it at a highway rest stop? One without a bathroom but the grave situated at spot that is naturally used as a pee spot...
