All I can say is, yeah, sadly, they do have a right to peaceably assemble (as long as it was actually peaceful, not like Jan. 6) and to freedom of speech (though not incitement, though stupid Ohio judges made that harder to prove now). :-/
But so do we. Next time we have a permit for one of our "woke" things, I want police protection for that, too. ;-)
Kudos to the folks in Cincinnati that drove out the incel Nazis last week! They are heroes … every single person who participated in shutting them down.
I live in Cincinnati, and that predominantly Black neighborhood has been subjected to so much racism and redlining for many years--it was carved out so that it doesn't benefit from the HUGE tax base of the GE Aircraft Engines plant across the highway. And that neighborhood is called Lincoln Heights, and it has thrived in spite of everything. I seriously don't understand how it's legal to hang anything off of an overpass, though. God, thank you for mentioning this. There are good people in Ohio, and thanks, Jennifer!
/Another/ Lincoln Heights?! It seems wherever someone names a neighborhood that, it's gonna get screwed; we have one in southern California, and it ain't "the Riviera of California." :(
You can /place/ things by the rails of an overpass (I'm guessing; not sure of any local tweaks to that), but if it dangles over the upper edge, that's probably illegal?
For a bunch of blowhards, they're sure letting us know what a bunch of pussies they are. They so big and bad they have to cover their faces. Why? Are they scared of retribution, of blowback by people they know or are they just weak? I've actually dealt with these types and by the time I finished with them, I had them in tears. No, I didn't hurt them physically, I mercilessly bruised their egos and feelings with somewhat slightly colourful language. I don't care for bigots, nor do I excuse their hate.
How on Earth did we wind up with such a big basket of bad apples? I know that I played no part in manufacturing the hate they have in me, nor did or any other marginalized group. They have been as indoctrinated as the brown shirts in Germany. This is tricky. Stop their news feeds, for starters.
Of course the police protected the Nazis in America in 2025. "Free speech blah blah," but let's talk about the fact that the police also LIKE the Nazis...because they're Maga, just like them. We truly only have each other. I'm gay and I would never call the cops if I were a victim of a hate crime (which I'm more likely to be now...thanks Maga voters!!).
Awesome. Problem is, half the vile shit stains in this "country" think those nazi fucktards are the good guys..........including that fucking piece of shit, Kanye West.
Which is weird, since Hitler and his buds would find a place in the camps (or the showers) for anyone who isn't white Aryan, once their usefulness is over (yep, the Nazis were allies with the Japanese, but do you really think they'd divide up conquered territory with them nicely afterwards?).
Dear God, I live here in Cincinnati and saw this news as soon as it broke since it’s only about 5 miles away from where I live. I wish I had gone over there to protest these jackaloons . I’m glad they were run out. The overpass where they positioned themselves is right next to a very predominantly African-American suburb. They were there on purpose and they knew exactly what they were doing. Fuck them all.
Ah, oh mighty One, that is what I'm talking about! People all over, in groups small and large, saying a resounding NO that shakes the stars in Your heaven and makes the angels themselves laugh. Sometimes I wish I were young again, just so that I join the full-throated fight for democracy and sanity. Alas...I must content myself with writing...cheering on the ones whose voices ring in the streets. There is a national group with local chapters call Indivisible. Their url is indivisible.org and they are looking for people from all walks to put their own talents to work as part of this grassroots organization. Check them out. It seems that, if each person gave what they can in terms of volunteering and dropping a few bucks on them now and then, mighty and wonderful things can happen. Like a small group in Cincinnati, kicking some Nazi's to the curb and then burning their hateful flags.
God Bless Cincinnati... and those heros!
I want to see their faces. They even wore large sunglasses to hide themselves.
And didn't "someone" have to register with the city for a permit first. Lots of people know who they are. They need to be outed.

And awesome job, "flag" burners! :D That's free speech, too. ;-)

They wouldn't be hiding their faces if they weren't chicken! God bless that church! Thank you, God! Amen! Awomen!

I meant to say hatred for me not in me.

That is the best thing I have read in a few days!!
"The Heroes That Fought Back" ... Whoohooo Cincinnati!
If you like Nazis, please move to Guantanamo Bay detention camp.

We must follow suit in our own communities to ensure these hateful few don’t become embedded and emboldened. Thank you Cincinnati 😍
Bernie had a very powerful senate speech

Bravo, Bernie. Always the president of my heart.💙

Thank you for this information!! I’ve never heard of Indivisible, but I’m definitely going to check them out. Sounds like my kinda people 💖💪
My biggest draw to them is how they put on their Home page ways to (peaceably) fight back. :)
