My neighbor across from me is serving her last part of her felony conviction in jail due to her being in the Capitol and acting violently on 1/6. Before the Con-felon donold became president we were very friendly with each other. Once he took office she was a devoted cult member of the drumpf leader. She is a devout Catholic (the Mel Gibson style,) and expects Jesus to take her away and be with her always. Coo coo for coconuts. Typical follower. She hates me and doesn’t speak to me. My step daughter made snarky remarks about not wanting her sons to go to war in a group text that includes me and her father’s sister. Neither of us have children. I replied that apparently only those of us with children were allowed an opinion. That was the end of that. My spouse can see them if he wants, but not me. The son-in-law is an even bigger AW. She wasn’t a nice person and visits were tense before. I feel a little bit bad and tried an apology but she said “too lame.” Adios.
Though there is such a thing as standing up for the good, breaking windows and hitting cops with sticks, etc. has nothing to do with standing up for a principle. The rioters showed their true selves when they scaled the walls and desecrated the halls of government. They didn't know the RIGHT way to protest. They blindly followed their MAGA. leader.
The STENCH of Trump back in the Whitehouse after it took four years to clean is bad, but turning loose those J6 terrorists is almost as bad. Trump has proven that WE DON'T HAVE A JUSTICE SYSTEM! WE HAVE A LEGAL SYSTEM WHERE ANY COCKROACH WITH ENOUGH MONEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT! Maybe a vigilante system might work better until we can change laws that protect criminals with politics and money! After 1789, France used the Guillotine to separate the rich as well as the royals from their heads. Those would be very easy to build again. That way, Trump and Musk can both get the "Royal Treatment"!
