Compost the rich๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ I'd say eat them but they're probably toxic, who knows where they've been, and will taste awful.

They might be edible if we keep them in pens for a few weeks and feed them some tender democracy ๐Ÿ˜.

God's avatar

lol itโ€™s fun to think about

Margaret Maier's avatar

I think you would have to still do one of those long cooking techniques still to make it edible.

Thatโ€™s meโ€ฆwondering how the hell things got so fucked up! Good read, God.

God's avatar

thanks Mandy!

I spent almost $45 today on rice, laundry detergent, baggies, blueberries and an avocado. Thereโ€™s nothing โ€œpostโ€traumatic about our lives right now.. The trauma is never ending.

God's avatar

yes it is

Margaret Maier's avatar

You bought blueberries and avocados!? Sybarite! How will you ever afford to buy a house?

Victoria Corse's avatar

Right? Iโ€™m so ashamed it wasnโ€™t ramenโ€ฆ

I think this is reality, not satire. It's pretty much how people are feeling. We all need some kind of vacation or relaxing massage - no a sports massage where you come out sore for three to four days is never the answer. Let's stop doing those, they aren't making you feel better.

Maybe if we can retire trump and his minions we can get the equivalent of a mini-break.

Always a good read, God! Especially zeroes in on why so many of us are so screwed up, we want a president who'll tell us what to do, how to do it, and call down your wrath to many of us who screw up just one more time! I don't wanna spend my twilight years digging up coal for the factories!

Margaret Maier's avatar

No, we absolutely do not want a president who will do those things. That's an autocrat.

We want a competent president who can lead and knows how to make government work for us instead of against us.

lol I enjoyed this. Donโ€™t blame Biden for high grocery prices! Please FTC block grocery chain mergers. Increase the competition and in my book tax the rich, the poor pay more than they do and the middle class! Thereโ€™s socialism for the corporations, heavily subsidized eating our lunch. Being nickeled and dimed to death. Yes, I say it's time the shoe is put on the other foot. Past time. They've been taking it in for decades now. We had a progressive tax in place at one time in this country. Research it there on the internet. There was a time in this country when citizens felt the duty and honor to pay their Taxes. Where has that gone? Ty

I agree that corporate greed is driving inflation.

$460 billion to Israel, isn't it? Which props up a healthcare and education system for Israelis, at American taxpayer expense, that your political leaders say you shouldn't have as it's socialistic welfare dependency and therefore bad for you.

Kathi Ruel's avatar

Yes, indeed.

Grocery Prices alone keep me traumatized

Watched our nation's Capitol be stormed by a mob comprised of our fellow Americans didn't make this list?

God's avatar

holy cow. how did I forget to include that?!! It should be at the top. I will edit and add it in. There literally are so many things on the possible list, itโ€™s easy to miss so many.

Oh our tax dollars are definitely going to healthcare, education, and infrastructureโ€ฆ Just not on this continent.

No, no, we offer and provide that to OTHER countries. ๐Ÿ˜’

I LITERALLY TOLD EVERYONE THIS WOULD HAPPEN BACK IN 2015! Nobody would listen. I was laughed at, told I was being dramatic and crazy.

This is a result of having a literally mentally ill, man, with Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder, as the leader of the nation.

We NEED a nation wide mental health program ASAP.

Just when I was feeling optimistic after 911, the orange menace happened. Then covid. Then my fiancรฉ dies from pancreatic cancer. Then I had to relocate into a better job market. Now the orange menace may win another term? At least I live in an area with nice parks that have bike trails, kayak rentals & fishing. Plus the cheap primitive camp sites for the much needed vacation.
